No way to turn off FSS from inside the game.

It's almost impossible to pull off a specific move with Kobe because he has over 45 different Star and Superstar moves that you'd have to memorize by my estimation.

i think Alonzo Mourning definitely deserve to get a star power player fss.

Rasheed wallace - need to be just a star inside scorer and not star power player in offence.

S.Nash - maybe not a super star out side scorer (marbury and fancise and better then him in this type of Fss and they got just star out side scorer..) and just a star out side scorer..

T.parker - not a superstar out side scorer, maybe just star.

Anthony Parker (Toronto)- maybe all of you dont know him but,
he played in Maccabi tel-Aviv previous seasons, and he was maybe the best player in Europe last 5 seasons...
and his style of play may give hime Fss abilities like star high flyer and out side star ..

Isn't shooter supposed to be for 3s?
BTW: As I'm from Germany I'm hardly able to watch much of the NBA, but I watched almost every match of the world cup, especially the US-ones (the ones from germany obviously, too )
From what I saw, C.Anthony was the best player on US-roster. Wade and Lebron had their scenes but overall I think they are overestimated. Dwight Howard was very good, too.
But Carmelo definetely deserves outside-scoring fss.

One other player: What about Nate Robinson, winner of the Slam-Dunk challenge? Shouldn't he get highflyer-fss?

bout nate, yer he did win the slam dunk contest but he hardly throws down windmills every game. im guessing theyr awarding them on in-game performances

Cassell's best weapon is a straight pull-up jumper, and they don't really account for that with FSS.

which the difference enters superstar and star ability?

last year you could turn of FSS
you went in players.dbf and put all 0 in the coloumn superstar

I imagine that will be the same this year, however if you ever edit a player in-game after that, they will return to the FSS abilities in which their ratings warrant.

Just a question, did not want to open a new topic or something, but can we only change the FSS on the flyer with pausing the game.
Cause when I changed it the game did always pause.

Robinson did win the dunk contest but after more than 15 attempts. Besides it would be totally unrealistic to see a 5-9 guy doing multiple spins in the air to finish with a huge dunk like one of those from T-Mac. Even for him it is unrealistic .

i think this thread should have info about how to do each type of FSS movement with the right analog, otherwise i think this thread doesn't deserve a sticky...

Why Arenas in list when i looking in FSS list is superstar Playmaker and when i playing a game he is not SS just star playmaker ?????
Also with Hinrich , in list he is SS playmaker and in game just star .... WTF ????

Some Players Really underrated , and some so Overrated

J.Jhonson He is absolutly not superstar playmaker , he is more scorer and shooter
J.Smith Last Season his bloks was on first places in NBA top 10 bloks of the year , 2.5 bloks per game and he is not superstar stopper ? WTF he shoud be
J.Wallace is so goood in bloks and steals , he easy coud be superstar stopper in all categories, he have very good stat last season
B.Gordon In PO he scored 3 point sick , in one game against miami he scored 8 or 9 3 pt ..... with just star level he coudn't do so .... i think he must be SS 3 pt shooter
L.James All his FSS cool just playmaker level shoud be star , he can pass but he is not so playmaker like nash paul kidd
D.Nowirzki He is SS Scorer outside , SS scorer inside ..... but he is not sick 3 pt shooter , hes 3 pt level not more than star

A.Jamison He have one of the best career seson and in live 06 he was 84 now just 80 WTF ? he got progress in life and in the game he became more bad .... stupid. 3 pt rating with 40 % in life he got 64 and Anthony with and lebron with 30 % have 70 + ..... stupid ..... Jamison is very good inside ....... and he is best rebounder in team and his rebound rating just 71 .... he have about 10 rebounds per game WTF ? .... one of the most underrated players in the game.

Carmelo's percentages suggest he's far from a great jumpshooter.
Because of his performance in one game, Ben Gordon deserves Superstar abilities?
Change Gasol's Dunkpack from 2 to 3.

In the end, show that a player deserves something by their numbers, etc. I could say here all day that 'Fred Hoiberg is great jumpshooter and deserve SS 3Pt', but unless I show some percentages, etc. it really meand jack squat.

So... Has anybody found out which stats and what numbers in these stats are required for the various star and superstar types? I noticed that they are way different from last years stats, wich is obvious since the structure has been changed (2 types of each category)

what's the ability do they request to become a super star or star!
