Well, I don't know what in-game resolution you use, but since your card isn't very recent, you won't be able to use a high one and crank up all the details.
1GB is nice, but your card is the bottleneck in your system, so whether you can upgrade it or you won't be able to play with all the bells and whistles (court environment is very resource-intensive for example / you can turn down or off bench details and vsync to gain some easy fps).

ive been using this card for a goood while and it's been playin all my games good and my card is higher then the minimum on the required list...i think im going to have to change my card settings in windows as far as 3d is concerned

Please edit your previous post instead of double-posting, thanks. :)

Good luck finding help with your problem. Moving to technical issues, by the way.

I'm not saying that your card is worthless, just that it's already 2-3 years old, hence it'll have a hard time at a resolution above 1024x768 (even without max details).
Besides the usual advice (getting the latest Catalyst, 6.9 I believe), I'd turn off vsync and bench players, I wouldn't go above medium for stadium details, and I'd use bilinear or trilinear filtering, but not anisotropic.
In your catalyst menu, check if you can turn down bump mappings (not sure it'll be available) 1 or 2 notches.
Of course, also defragment 3 billion times...

I have a ATI Radeon 9200SE and Live 06 worked okay on it, with 512mb RAM. I'm getting an extra 1GB of RAM so hopefully it'll work okay for Live 07 (if they release bug fixes)

How many FPS does 06 run on average on your computer? and how much do you think it will run on with that extra gig added?

who is this guy anyway? he doesnt know a lot about shit then. Anyways dont worry, it'll work just make sure u have the latest drivers and if u have a ati vid card , download Ati Catalsyst on Ati.com. I had a Radeon 9200 for 06 and my shit ran perfectly, so dont listen to these guys.Try it for ur self

They're not Tech helpers.Where Threadlockz anyways?

I'm not downloading any driver updates. The last time I did that, everytime I tried playing a game, the computer would restart :? :? :? .

I can't remember the FPS, I had FRAPS running with the game usually and I think it was around 25-30. Lighting On, Environment Low, Player Detail High, Bilinear, and I forget the other settings. The main let down was the Environment on Low. Hopefully I can get it to Medium with that 1GB of RAM.

Jugs, cool, I was wondering how much RAM effected the frame rate. thanks for that

who is this guy anyway?

I wasnt trying to help the guy, I was asking Jugs a question.

Obviously, if I was asking a question. If im asking somebody something, do u think I know the answer?
