It is a good feature to have a layup button, dunk button, and shot button. It gives you flexability. And with the FSS you should have total control of your player on offense. But the no subbing and pg's getting all the points, thats ridiculus!!! I already bought 2K7 for Xbox 360, and so far so good. I'm still debating over getting Live 07 on PC or PS2.

So has anyone played a game in Dynasty...id like to know if the CPU team subs normally in there.

maybe it has something to do with the ability to set your reserves time in dynasty that it dont work right in exhibition.

If subs aren't done correctly then i'm not buying this game, simple as that.

I cannot accept such a major flaw especially since it didn't appear in the previous years version.

wow, as seeing what most of you guys are talking about how mediocre this game can be, its a good thing i hadnt bought the game yet. i was being set on buying this game hearing about what good stuff there are in this game and how much its improved, but i guess by what they mean improved, psh...heck, they cant get it done right! theyre supposed to make everything better each year, not make each part somewhat worse than the previous year. grrr, DAMN THOSE CANADIANS!! except for cool ppl like VC15

We're talking about subs for CPU teams in exhibition, and nobody wants to make substitutions for their opponents.

the game aint no disappointment, sheesh seems ppl already got their minds made up....aint nothing bad about the game except for 3 freaking sliders which i belive can be patched somehow,the gameplay is perfect

Can somebody please clarify for me, in regular season games in dynasty mode, is this substitution problem happening as well, or is it just when you play a one off 'play now' exhibition game from the start menu?

Also, is this the same for xbox 360 users?

To people that have the game:Despite all of the bugs and problems that have been mentioned, would you still reccomend the game? My only real turn-off so far about the game, is, from what I've heard, there are no signature shots in the game.

I recommend it, as it is by far the best NBA Live game ever released, in terms of both graphics and gameplay. It is true that there are no signature shots in the game, but once you get over that, the actual play while the ball is in is superb compared to any other effort I've ever seen EA give. As I've said in other threads; it has its bugs, but so does every game, and if it wasn't this, it'd be something else being complained about. The bottom line is it's impossible to please everybody, but NBA Live 07 brings a ton of fun gameplay to the table, and after patching both to the graphics and possibly the engine/gameplay, this game will be five stars in my book. I strongly recommend purchasing it, if you're going to get any current gen basketball game. I can't stop playing it!

believe me Live 07's gameplay is really different from Live06. The players have some kinda weight and theres no sliding,theres more physical defense and its very hard to get an open lane to the bucket without collision...sig shots would have even made it better but without it,the game is still great right outta the box...its just that somehow ea forgot sliders(fatigue,sub frequency) so u gotta manually sub cpu players too shit!!...hopefully it aint the same way in dynasty mode
