There should be a CD version, as most games do have a DVD and CD Version, for example, i think 06 had a DVD version, but i bought the CD version cuz i had no DVD drive

LOL why would they really **** up? Alot of games are on dvd now. I love having games on dvd, only one cd install goes alot faster. Plus I think everyone has know it was on dvd only for like 6 months now.

Just pick one up for like $30. I did about 8 months ago and it works great.

It was mentinoed months ago that it would be on a PC DVD. As for there being a CD-rom version as well? I haven't heard anything on that.

well when Live 06 came out, it was always advertised as the DVD Version, but i went to bestbuy the day it came out and bought the CD version. what im saying is there might and should be a CD version, but EA wont advertise it. honestly, only making a DVD version affects alot of people

You've been pretty ignorant over the past week or so. Please think before you post.

It's a big world, and he's right, it indeed would affect a lot of people if a DVD drive were mandatory for game operation. And while you or I may not be in that group of people, you can't be an ignorant dope and pretend it doesn't exist.

So please, think.

Sorry I didnt realize I was being ignorant or rude, Or I wouldnt of said any of it. I was just stating my opinion on how many people have dvd drives now. I could help anyone find a good deal on one. Unless you just want to find one where you live.

Just buy a DVD-R drive or something, it's extremely cheap. I got mine for $90 but it was brand new and Sony and that was when they were a little expensive.

Trust me, you can now get one (a good one) for around 35-40 bucks if my memory is right.

i bought a dvd-rom drive because of this, i think it was 35 bucks.

Or you could just download it from EA downloader....then you wont need a Drive at all.

Yeh you can get them for dirt cheap now. In most cases if you have a computer that is capable of playing NBA Live 07 then you would have a DVD drive. EA may come out with a CD version, but probably statisticaly speaking it would be better for EA to just bring out a DVD version, as the loss in sales compared to the less prodution cost would probably work in EA's favour. However it really does suck for the people without DVD drives, jsut wait and see or save your money for a DVD drive.

Its NZ dollars. It converts to 32 bucks USD. It sucks because my family has no money right now and il have to wait at least 3 or 4 months to get it coz its so fuckin hard to find a job here to make money of my own

EDIT: Does anybody know how much DVD drive speed effects the play of game?

That's what I'm going to do. I'm not fully convinced it is only on PC-DVD.
