The game will run, but you will probably have to run it in a smaller resolution, lower graphics settings, no lighting to ensure that it doesnt skip every second

the x1600 is a more than decent card to run the game at rather high settings @ 1024x768, as long as you don't use too much of AA or AF filtering.

what does "pass" mean?
System Memory 1536.5 Pass 256.0
Processor Speed 2010.3 Pass 800 MHz

thats from my madden easyinfo program, i ran 06 on MAX settings on
256mb ram
1.4 atlhon processor
128mb radeon 9200
and with my new shit, it runs much better on 1280 x 1024 resolution

What about
Pentium M 1.7 Ghz
512mb DDR2 RAM
Intel Accelerated 9600
I ran NBA LIVE 06 on max settings smoothly, but the system lags after I quit the game. Windows XP suddenly becomes slower for about 2-3 minutes.
If I upgrade the RAM to 1Gig, how much improvement would I see in terms of gaming experience?
