Live 07 on PS3

I was planning to get 07 for pc .... but recently i've been leaning towards waiting til November and getting a ps3 and live 07 instead.

The video and screenshots of next gen look so darn good that if i got the pc version i know it would bug me knowing that a better version of the same game was available on (what sounds to be) a much better gaming system in the ps3.

I'm interesting in other's thoughts on this... also I read somewhere on this forum that live07 on ps3 wouldn't be very good..care to elaborate for me ?

^^ I'm of the same opinion to you mr. durden. I'll probably get it for PC regardless, but when it comes out for the PS3, depending no the review I think I will fork out the cashola for one, and a copy of Live.

I haven't read any opinions on how Live will be on the PS3, but I'm led to believe that in the long run the PS3 will be the most powerful unit available. That's why it would be my choice. I am also guessing though, that if a version of 07 was to be 'undercooked', it would probably be the PS3, just because it would be the first run of the game on it.

Are they going to release live07 on ps3? If yes, then the game might be like last year which is incomplete and a waste of money..

That wouldn't be the case. They left Dynasty Mode and All-Star Weekend out of Next Gen last year because they didn't want to just port the code across. Now that they've got those features in the Xbox 360 version I would assume a PS3 version would be identical.

The ps3 has been delayed again. So if there will be a ps3 version of the the game, it would be sometime next year.

That's only in Europe. It's still on schedule for sometime in November everywhere else.

there'll definitely be a NTSC NBA Live 07 on PS3, but depending on the release date of PS3 in Australia & Europe (which I think will end up somewhere around May 07), I think there is definitely a chance EA won't bother doing a PAL version of NBA Live 07....we'll see though....

games are region free. there´s no need for PAL version, you can play a NTSC version in australia because all region codes will be in the same blu-ray

Wow, that sounds very good. Now PAL users will never miss out! although it will suck if the game runs like shit because of problems with incompatibility

I can't be arsed reading that article, but from what I understand, game companies will have the choice on whether to region lock a game or not, much like they do on 360....and EA seems to region lock all it's games from what I've seen & heard, so there's a chance Live will be region locked....
