Instant replay at the end of quarters?

In Live 06, one thing that was really frustrating was that you couldn't do replays of buzzer beaters and stuff like that at the end of a quarter. Since I know you played the game, did you notice if this was fixed in 07 Andrew?

No change in NBA Live 07 as far as I could see.

That's pretty crap. It seemed liked a bug as this never used to be a problem, so i would of thought this should have definately been fixed.

You just gotta press "pause" right before time runs out, then you can watch whatever it is you wanna watch

well I believe that function turns off when the last second begins

Doesn't really bother me. I'd rather see gameplay advancements and not be able to replay my buzzer beater. Different strokes for different folks.

Agreed, though I must admit it is bothersome from time to time when you maintain a Dynasty thread and want a screenshot of a game winning shot (or halfcourt three, as was the case for me the other day).

yea i find that annoying as wel, its the way the game has been constructed... it dumps everything held in physical memory (such as replays) at the end of each quarter to make room for the next period

dno about anyone else but my natural reaction wen hitting a game winner with mr horry on a unassuming friend is to celebrate... ahhh it shud replay the shot anyway at the end of the game with some commentary, all it had on live 06 was marv shouting "FOR THE WIN!!!" as the player shoots and then he just sed "the celtics take this one, 98-97" as if they are everyday occurences, which really pissed me off!

its really annoying i agree, you also cannot replay if you are fouled once you are at the free throw line. That shit is super wack

Yea that bugged me a bit its just one part of the entire replay system that bugged me. I preferred when replays would randomly pop up after a good play and I could decide whether or not to watch it. I hate having to press that crap after superstar moves co, jumpshot or move that perfectly simulated what the real-life counterpart of that player would do).

On another note I really dont think its necessary to always mention "improvements to gameplay" everytime someone posts a thread about something related to presentation. We all know that gameplay needs to be improved (it cannot be repeated enough) and unless your gonna comment directly towards the issue at hand I dont see the point of even posting really (especially that repetitive statement). Whats worse to me is it seems to be the same people making the same statements in every thread so I wonder if at some point they dont notice it themself. Ah well.

Since it came about, I've always turned off Auto Replay, never cared to use the Instant Replay function ever, so yeah, this doesn't really bug me. If anything, I'll be looking for a way to get rid of the little window that pops up telling you to pus the button for a FSS Replay in 07 so I don't even have to look at it. I have no use for Replay in my game, and being that the Live people read these forums, I'll continue to preach gameplay, and not things like "make it so we can use instant replay at the end of a quarter"

nba live 05 used to replay a tough layup when you were fouled automatically, can you turn that on in 06 or are you talkin about the overlay where you press a button to view the replay after FSS moves??

i was a big fan of the 2003 replays, they were great, they also had cutscenes of players moaning about fouls and a few other things, which in my opinion gave the game a TV Broadcast feel. I hope they bring that back at some point

yep i was playing live 2003 a few days ago and you could actually do what we cant now and that is taking a screeny or movie when the quarter ends.
