Editing headbands etc!

Okay, I heard that it's possible to edit the player's headbands (and also saw it somewhere in this forum)! I searched for the headband of Lebron James.
I found the following:
lejamesC_headband.ebo in the plyrgrc.viv
lejamesB_headband.ebo in the plyrgrb.viv and last but not least the
lejamesD_headband.ebo in the plyrgrd.viv !
As soon as I wanna open 'em with the EBO Editor the Editor crashes...
Why? It's gotta be possible, cause I've seen it. Please answer! I really want to know it
