Opening night rosters

for player skin color, is there a such COLOR as 5? because under appearances.dbf for rasual butler, his color # is 5. i thought they only go from 0-4?

i have david west and jamer nelson with #5, it maybe a lighter colour perhaps

actually, does anyone know whos a good headshape for desmond mason? i already found a face. all i need are headshapes, maybe a portrait too please. thanks a bunch.

Well that is what i was talking about before. On my game everyone with the number 5 for color their arms and legs are pitch black. I go to change it and nothing works do i change it in all 3 files current working and original? also deron williams and nate robinson are like that and i dont see them listed anywhere

if it works fine, dont worry, go on using #5, but if it works bad, try to change their colour to 2 or 3 (except nate, to 4), however it only would change their body colour, not the face

ok but when you change the number how do you save it? i've read that it saves automatically but everytime i open it back up its at what it was before

yea. i found that out several days ago. haha...how could i possibly forget that he was in the game. that post, it got there by mistake somehow. when i turned on the computer, it was on "this page cannot be found". so i refreshed or either went back one page and it was working and then it went to the screen where it said "click here to go the index page" or something.

Ok I changed everything that I needed to and i made sure that it saved and it did. but when I exited the program and launched Live i still had the problem. Any other Ideas or suggestions of what i should do?

you have to load up your game first, whichever roster you edited.

what i meant to say was that after doing everything, THEN when going to your game, load that up(according to whatever roster saves you edited).

Step by step:
- Change appearance.dbf of the folder u want
- Save changes
- Launch NBA Live
- Load rosters you've changed
- Cross your fingers and ready to play

sorry maybe it just wasnt ment to be. lol. Do the skin files in the sgsm folder have nething to do with it? And in the sgsm folder i cant find the faces for vincent grier robert hite and daniel horton (all on heat). there heads are still pink. lol

Ok i fixed all the players but josh smith, jameer nelson, and rasual butler. I just did the import wizard thing on the EA graphics editor thing and added their files. but the problem is smith nelson and butler dont have files in the sgsm folder so i cant do the same procedure and the the color on all of them is edited but it still doesnt work.

I think u should simply paste .ebo and .fsh files for those players into sgsm folder, it shouldnt be difficult to find. Have a look at www.nba-live.com

yo i cant tell you how much i appreciate this but one more question. on the josh smith one how do i get it to a fsh. file or do i have to?

is there a way to edit a schedule for each team that you use for dynasty mode? for instance, say you want to play teams according to the actual NBA schedule and in the game, its differently. is there a way to change the schedule so that you can play against teams for the 2006-07 year? so let's say i were to play as...the knicks or whatever, i play with this schedule http://www.nba.com/knicks/news/schedule_060801.html ,is this possible to edit? probably might not matter though, right? cause playing against your opponents using any team is totally random each time.
