Well I think that the skin textures look a lot more realistic this year. I also won't judge until I see more gameplay. As long as it runs at 60FPS, has improved camera angles, and smarter more realistic AI, I will be happy.

I definetely like the skin, but in my opinion, only Diaw (in certain screenshots) and Pau look realistic.

Notice in some pics they have a depth of field blur on the crowd, but not in most of them? There's one pic of Parker by himself at the top of the 3pt line, which is almost exactly the same as the one from the original IGN blog pic with t-mac. Same shot, no depth of field, and most of the diaw shots (except one I think) have the crowd all in focus.....

For those who played live on the 360 last year, was there an actual depth of field effect in the game, or is this just something EA has done in post to glamour up some promo shots?

I think sense EA didn't directly port their game, which was a nice idea (wanting to bring a whole new experience to the new console), but didn't work out for them that well.

I saw the signature shots videos and the player movements looked pretty weird. I think though all the 'kinks' we find in these pics are just things that will have to be fixed as time goes by.

Think of it like the current gen versions. When they started with current gen consoles they just had to keep fixing things as time went and today are still updating and fixes kinks. Sense its a whole new engine for the 360 and not simply a port I think it will turn up the same as current gen as far as kinks being worked out. Its like having a whole new set of things to work with....I hope that makes sense lol, but yea thats what I'm thinking.

While trying to collectively create a whole new experience they knew with brand new engines comes brand new engine and AI they will have new challenges and they just trust us to be patient as they try to take full advantage of the 360 and PS3 and endure the drawbacks of creating a full , new experience.

The pics are okay but I really hope full gameplay videos prove better. Emotion, though it has been said it will be implicated, really looks lost in some of those pics. This is something I think would really help the current games.

Anyway, enough griping by me lol, I hope it turns out great and I guess we as the fans just have to be patient...

A couple of things are wrong/bad i noticed..
1)The team bench looks lifeless (i.e no towels, tracksuits ect.)
2)Wtf is up with the hoop nets?
3)Emotionless players who don't focus thier eyes on anything (i.e the defence should be looking at the ball or their marked player).
4) The crowd is pretty crap, not interested in the game it seems, yet they all want to stay seated for the entire length of the game (i.e no one is walking around which would make it more realistic).

Other than that it's pretty good, some of the skin tones and body features are truley amazing.
