Hello friends!

We have finally completed the first public version 3.0 beta of the NBA2kSTUFF Historic Collection and MegaInstaller! This is the most comprehensive collection of professionally designed sports historical data, graphics, programming,and features ever before provided to the public in computer gaming history! This product enhancement retro-fits the Electronic Arts NBA Live Series computer game with a sampling of over 30 years of authentic basketball history and imagery , and allows the owners of the NBA Live game to journey into basketball history's past and relive some of the greatest moments in sports by playing and simulating some of the greatest legendary teams and players in nba history!! With the help of many of the pioneering and gifted artists and graphics designers in the game patching community, we have synergized the most diverse collection of talent. artwork,and data that made this evolution in game patching possible. All of the artists and designers who contributed to the development of this product enhancement come from many countries over the world, speak different languages, range from different ages and backgrounds; but All have come together in the true spirit of community to share their work and talents for all to enjoy and learn from!

Wow. I know this must've took a lot of time. Hats off to you guys, this is really something special. AS ALWAYS SOMEONE WILL COMPLAIN ABOUT SOMETHING, but I appreciate this. Damn fine job fellas. This is why we can say this game has the one of the most dedicated followings.

if u mean me, i dont wanna complain bout that patch, i no its alot hard work and i love that patch, all i said is that it unfortuneately doesnt work on mah pc but that aint complainin...

hawk i followed the steps exactly as mentioned. when i start my games some faces are black.. Mailman, Oakley, MJ to name a few.. as i was installing one of the faces installer i noticed quickly messages stating "name already exists" or something like that.. never the less i love the mod.. having MJ at 99 is the man himself.. my charlotte (boogues, LJ and Zo couldnt stop the 49 he dropped on me) Not to mention the baseline dunk a faceless MJ did on rookie Zo (there's an actually MJ footage where he did the same facial) i wish i had taken the screenshot to show u guys BUT MJ FACE plus others ARE BLACK..

drama, did you follow ALL 29 steps... I think maybe you forgot to go to the TWEAKS menu and select the "FIX VOICES AND ROSTER!" option... make sure you do that and follow EVERY step...

i did. i installed it 2 times and everytime i followed the instructions and im sure i didnt forget ne thing...maybe its mah nba live 2003, its really fucked up, there was a time when it crashed 2 the desktop, 2 but i was able 2 fix that but this time it seems 2 b tougher 2 fix... i really wanted 2 play with ai in his rookie season shit

shit, it jus wont work...i jus reinstalled the whole game and the patch and it still doesnt work, how shit is that?

just guessing here. but you probebly didn't delete/move your previous patches (players, courts...) i think it might be something with that. try taking away (just rename or move em') and then try installing again

just a though...

it doesnt work for me too... but i try to move my player patches then...

well, i said i reinstalled the game and installed the patch then again. i put the patch in the pure ea game, no updates no patches, nothin. its jus, everythings workin except the franchise and season modes...

The players are so fat....that when i go In the Paint i'm afraid i might get called for Three In The Key but...i can only work the F@*(@ MegaInstaller to work for 95-03 But them jerseys I have broken the record for most smileys in a post

i can only play exhibition games and i cant simulate neither in season and in franchise modes...

i cant even get into season or franchise mode, after setting everything the way i want it and selectin the team i wanna play wit and clicking the arrow it crashes 2 the desktop

hello!

1) for the "blank" faces, which roster are you loading where this is occuring? the option when you run
"Install->UserAddons->Upgrade Faces"
should map most of theplayers faces unless some were missed in a particular roster like the MJ(??) , etc. that u mention. they are time sensitive faces and imagery, so different faces for many players that change over the roster years like that.

2) for basic roster crashes & missing voices, this is the result that the nba live2003 engine "caches" data from previous rosters that you load. so when you load a new roster, it doesn't really load it,and causes some crashes or mess ups.
so to fix this you have to
a) exit the game!
b) run the Tweeks->Fix Roster and Voices! menu option
c)then reload your game andreload the roster, and it should be working better.


2a) for other crashes this is most likely due to that:
render\xoverlay
folder not being properly created on your system. so go into where your game is installed, and see after you do the install if the folder
render\xoverlay
is there with a bunch of logo files in there.

if it is not or is messed up, you may have to manually create that folder, and then re-run the install to get it up with the files that you have already downloaded, till i can make a fix for that (if that is the problem?).
also check the
render\xcourt
and other folders to see if they are properly created.


3) yah i know about seaon and franchise mode problems. i never run it that way so i need people who do to help let me know how to run it that way so i can check that. in the Tweeks menu, see that option called
"Tweaks->Play Mode->All Game Mode"
or
"Tweaks->Play Mode->All Playoff Mode"
this should set up the rosters for single game play or best Playoff mode!
the patch is really geared for the playoff mode,
in playoff mode, the teams are setup with the actual seating of those years you are loading, but... you can click on the arrows and rotate thru all the teams! (that is a first to get that to work using custom teams!)

so as i said tho, for franchise and season mode, try setting those options in the menu tosee if it works for that?

also please join us on the nba2kstuff forum, so when we isolate and figure out a technical problem if we can,we can share it's solution for everyone!
plus to help out with fixing some of the glitches and enhancing it to make it more fun for everyone!
