LIVE!!!NBA LIVE 07 pics(Dynasty Mode)

Talk about NBA Live 07 here.

Postby TNazT on Sun Jul 30, 2006 12:56 am

I was skeptikal about Live this year but it's looks like it its shaping up nicely. I thought it was going to be a remix of last year's game from the look of the early screens we got. I guess that was me being a bit cynical  ....I saw the video showing the gameplay & I have to say it's lookin' SMOOTH.....Real SMOOTH. Keep Provin' Me Wrong, EA!!!!

Looks too good to be true... I have to pinch my self when I look at the pictures...

I gotta get to play that!!! DAMN!

I wonder how the whole chemistry thing will work though... Some players are just bad seeds, but most enjoy being with some players and not the company of all the stars... Well, I'll have to wait and see... Much like the rest of you have to too...

Well so far it looks like they've improved everything but gameplay, but I can't be sure of that yet. Even if the the dynasty mode turns out to be better than 2k's (even though it won't), I still won't buy the game if they didn't improve the gameplay, cause I know that 3 months into the game, I will get frustrated by some stupid comeback glitch, or primacy glitch, or rebounding glitch, or some new glitch they make, like LeBron averaging 13 points after coming back from a sore elbow or something minor injury like that.

Well this is a little bit more detailed than that of NBA 2k, where they just have overall team chemistry, not individual. But I'm not quite as sure with NBA 07, never played it, it's probably trash anyway.

can yall please stop comparing nba live 07 current gen to 2k7 current gen.....because 2k has not came out with any news for the current gen, so you dont know if they will improve it or just spend all they time on next gen version and just put out 2k6 with updated rosters........so if you gon compare them, wouldnt it be best to compare them on next gen..

I wonder why T-Mac's Chemistry is kinda low. What factors affect team chemistry, any ideas?

Maybe injuries have an affect to the players chemistry.

not really....most 2k fans here are former Live fans, who want Live to be a good game every year, but are continually let down....I'm more of a 2k fan at the moment but will buy both games for next gen & play Live probably until 2k comes out early next year....

as for the pics, I hope that is current gen, it'd have to be I'd say....the mock draft has Shelden Williams going number 1 & Adam Morrison going at 12  Rudy Gay isn't even in the lottery it doesn't seem  who the heck is S. Brooks from Duke anyway? I've never heard of him so he must be generated I'm guessing....

I'm hoping for hell that the ESPN integration is a lot more than what is shown....they have talked it up....I expect more than 3 lines of scouting reports which are easy to get in scouting before the draft....I expect actual commentary from an ESPN person taking the piss out of me for selecting Shelden Williams with the number 1 pick  not a couple of lines....it doesn't really show anything about how a player fits in....

either way, it's still too early too tell, but I'm not too enthused yet....I'm a avid NBA draft followers so I expect more than I know that they can & will deliver....I want to be blown away....let's hope next gen can impress me....

Thanks CharlieGST, greatly appreciate the pics. (Y)

Looks good to me, though the screenshots of the offseason schedule do suggest it's still linear which isn't terrible but as most of us have said at one point or another it would be even better to be able to re-sign your own players, sign other players and make trades throughout the offseason rather than progressing in distinctly seperate stages of roster movement. That said, I'm still keen to find out more about this year's Dynasty Mode.

I would hope they just lot all of the offseason transactions the entire time upto say training camp. Email negotiations are such a waste of a player's time. I'm wondering if the new scheduling system involves easier flowing negotiations and offseason roster transactions.

I completely agree. Waiting a day or two to hear back about a trade is too time consuming and often impractical during the regular season (especially at the deadline). While I think it should be necessary to advance to the next day to make a trade official the negotiations themselves should be able to take place all on the one day.

On the topic of time wasted...Ssending you assistant coach to investigate rumors? You got to be joking. I love the idea of a rumor mill, but this needs to be incorporated somehow to a trading block. In that you found a rumor that a star player doesn't like his team, so he wants to leave. If that rumor was succesfully interpreted, then on the block he should go. Ah la Ron Artest... However, since CPU managment is often very inept, I find it difficult to aquire "superstar" players from a computer-managed team. Once again, chemistry "could" be a powerful influence in roster movement if the developers allow it.

Yeah, I think the raps have C. Bosh, why pick another PF? And Grizz drafting another center when Pau G is there? I know its a mock draft, but someone intelligent at EA has got to step in and correct these "major" flaws...

Dumbasses like you are the reason Live has been so bad over the last few years. They barely have to do anything to impress you and your equally inept fanboy cronies.

And HTownADL or whatever you're called, can you stop saying that garbage about 2K not releasing any information please. If you're not going to bother doing your research just don't bother posting.
