sadly.. i think it looks the same as Live 06 in my opinion

nba live 2006 + momentum + xfactor + 2 or 3 collision animations.

the flow of the game, skating physics, full speed turns and graphics are exactly the same.

also didn't see any of the so called "improved perimeter game". still skating through the paint easily: if you want to dunk or lay it up on every possession, you will make 80% of your shots.

a real blow to the PC users, that don't get any real bball sim. by now it's already clear that NBA live is 100% directed to the casual fan of either gaming or the sport.

Well one thing isn't certain, that's difficulty level that they're playing on. For all we know they could be on starter playing. Secondly I saw Dirk changing from inside scorer to shooter right before he shot that 3, and also they have new, more fluid turn around jumpers. On ball defense looks pretty good as well.

If possible I'm still gonna try to get the next-gen version if I can get a PS3.

agreed. i think they way-overexadurated and if not lied with the ign article that surprised us all

that video didn't look good, and shouldn't there be more people on the bench?

Mon Jul 17, 2006 7:33 am

I don't like the video. The change FSS whenever you want thing is not a good idea... I mean damn... why would you put it in there, it makes it so unrealistic imo.

Thanx for the new info. . .The video is alright, I hate that Camera angle!! Side view is the way to go

So you feel it's more realistic that multi-talented players can only utilise one moveset, so a player like LeBron James can only perform spectacular dunks or utilise the outside scorer moves in the one game rather than being able to take advantage of all the moves in his arsenal? I fail to see how being able to cycle through the movesets is unrealistic.

good find. thanks! :D

I think the video is nice. It's much better than those 2 interview videos.

The animations seems improved abit, it's good.
Yes, it's still skating though... hopefully it will be fixed, but I do believe skating is not in the next gen anymore (if EA didn't lied in E3).

I like the in-game switch of FSS. I would like to use different FSS in different possessions to confuse the oponenet just like we play ball in real life. But EA have to make the switching as smooth as possible, according to the video, they need standing-still to switch. I hope it's just because the player doesn't get used to the switching button (or sequence).

All in all, it seems promising, but of course I would like to see more improvement in the upcoming videos.

It may be jsut that video, but the defense was horrible when Dirk was changing FSS abilities. The defense just stood there waiting for him to get ready.

I'm hoping they're playing on a lower difficulty setting...... so when u up it, the ball would be swatted out of your hands if you just stood there like that.

Also, I am guessing that changing FSS type quickly/efficiently would be just a matter of practice. At first, like the people playing the video, you might find it hard to change FSS type on the fly.
