how can i start a dynasty in year 2006-2007?

can u help me ??? coz i have the new roster fixed w/ rookies i want to start a dynasty in year 2006-2007 is that possible ill start my dynasty then save the game then edit the year?

you dont get it i want to start 2006-2007 season coz the new rookies are drafted that year.

just sim up to 2006/2007 then edit ur players.dbf to the one u had at the start with the rookies

when i do that the game crashes

can u teach me step by step

like copy ur player.dbf at the start of the season with the rookies and stuff. then sim to 2006/2007 then save. then go to that file and paste the player.dbf u added at the start

To answer your question, I had the same problem you did. I tried to get a dynasty to start in 06-07 with new rookie rosters, but it made the game crash every time. I eventually settled on just starting with the new rookies in 05-06.

thats what im doing and the game crashes when i simulate for 1 month to another


any dbf experts there?

then use 2005/2006. who really gives a crap?

I don't see why you can't start in 05/06. If you got an updated roster with them, then it is as if it were in 06-07; the only difference would be a number at the top of the schedule...

i have the newest roster patch w/c contains the new rookies (bargnani,aldridge,morrison,etc...) obviosly they are drafted at year 2006 when i enter the dynasty mode the year is 2005 is it possible to start a dynasty at year 2006 for example ill save my dynasty at the beginning then simulate it till the next season.. and its year 2006 when i copy my players.dbf from the 1st save w/c is in 2005 and overwrite it in the 2nd save w/c is in year 2006 my game crashes when i load it and simulate the games... help plz i badly need ur help or comments
