Excellent find! (Y) I can see that they are definitely using our ideas in the forums to make the game better.

I really hope those graphics dont cross over to the PC, they are worse than my graphics for live 06 now.... I'm sure it will have the ability to have graphics almost as good as the 360 version but not quite like live 06 though...

Overall it looks nice. It's glad to see people like Big Shot Rob can be recognized in this game.

I can't wait for next gen information. I very excited for this Live unlike many of the other ones. They have finally added some options in Dynasty that make actually want to play. I hope that the freethrow mechanics work, because on next gen it was terrible.

Hi!

- The separation from Kwane Brown, Tony Parker and Kobe Bryant respectively a wannabe, a star and a superstar is a great idea.

- The new X Factor ability sounds very promising. That means that my X factor in my dynasty will be Ben Gordon, that's so great.

- Momentum meter and a game-intensity meter are great plusses! EA is trying to make this game look and feel as real as possible. Thats very good.

- The Nba Draft is a great event and should be celebrated as such. The mock draft sound very exciting and these people grading your choices even better. I hope they have better player information like cons and pros and a little bit of bio so we know who we're picking and such. It'd also be cool if they had the mock draft for 2007 with players like Oden, Noah, Durant coming out of college - that would be great! say you're in the middle of the season and you get news about players declaring to the nba draft and such and you see this guy who is the second coming of MJ, so you definitely want to tank the season and get a chance to draft this guy :)

- The team chemistry sounds so Madden and it was about time. And I do agree team chemistry is a major factor in the NBA. Say someone like Gary Payton who always is complaining about something, then you don't want this this sickness spreading around your team members so you will be looking at trading him very quick or dumping him on the free agency.

- ESPN Rumor Central looks cool but does that mean that we're gonna be bombarded by even more emails ? :D haha I hate those emails I wish there was an option to filter some emails.

- Ability to adjust player rotations FOR EVERY POSITION before you simulate games is a big one. I love this feature.

The article sounds very excitiment and I think this game has a lot of potential so please JUST BRING IT!

Thanks.

i don't think they can put players in the game who haven't signed a contract with any NBA team / are not in the league yet.

it would rock, but i don't think it's possible.

Ok, I get how the X-factor might be sort of "realistic" but it also sounds like the most arcadey feature ever implemented.
Oh, I can just picture it now, every time one of my players goes into the glowing X-factor mode I'll scream "Oh shit, he's going in to Super Saiyajin 3!"
Yea, we can only hope NBA Live 2008 will allow the player's hair to change yellow when they do that.

However, I am liking what I hear about the new additions to dynasty. There is hope for Live after all. Hopefully, it's worthy enough to buy this time.
Bored.

Im just happy they added depth to dynasty mode because if the gameplay turns out sucking then atleast i can manage my team and have fun.I really hope they addressed the skating or atleast toned it down, and they BETTER improve the damn create a player it was so horrid last year.

I usually never play without having my created player in the game,i find it boring otherwise. All we can do now is wait.

Oh Yeah! I hope the rookies have more realistic ratings ie. PG w/ below 70 Passing isn't too realistic and I hope they can actually become superstars instead of being bench players throughout their careers.

sounds good with all these additions that should bring the game close to reality. However there has been no mention of modifications to the financial side of the game. A MLE would be great.

Postby BIG GREEN on Thu Jul 13, 2006 11:49 pm

I have a strong feeling this X-factor thing will be overpowered like this year's "freestyle superstar" was. Not every team has an x-factor comming off the bench; infact, most don't.

This momentum and intensity is just one of the things live has been missing all these years...and it's probably the only really good addition to live 07. I just hope EA hasn't been putting all their power into "procedural awareness" and smooth running animations.

I might buy this guy just for dynasty mode simmings. The rumour central, team chemistry and other mentioned stuff has got me sold.

Gameplay, however, has not. Like previously stated, the new additions could be overpowering..

i like some new aditons like the xfactor... ihope every team doesnt have one off the bench and that some can have some starting xfactor guys..
the dinasty improvements are good especially the chemistry and status of the team with the espn details they seem to get the game more enjoyable but its not a major improvement
seems like superstar abbilities will be more controllabe, i hope sop atleast! and to assign multisuperstars to one player is good, not to leave one player just doing the same thing one night long..
about the graphics i dont really care, 1st because i would care more about gameplay and 2nd if they improved the graphics a lot my pc would explode..
It has its new features like every year so i guess ill be a just fine game

"Another cool addition is the ability to adjust player rotations for every position before you simulate games. This way, you'll know for sure that the computer is playing the players you want and not just going by ratings so your key rookies can continue to develop using Player Evolution."

Is this feature only for the dynasty mode or will it be available when you play an exhibition game or in regular-season mode? Cause i hate it when the CPU just plays the players who are designated for that position, not like in real life when they have depth charts for each position.
