Can't play at Cleveland (sorry move to patching issues.)

I am not new and I understand how to do everything there is really.
I removed the court patch, the backboard patch, the new jerseys and the logos patch for Cleveland, and reinstalled the game, for some reason, I can not play at Cleveland.

I put Hogan's patches in and tony's and everything was fine.
I then tried to add an arena sound file (which didn't work) and it was for Smush Parker. I tried to play at Cleveland to hear it and the game crashes to the desktop.

I then played Cleveland at Lakers and it worked fine. But the Smush Parker sound patch didn't work.

So I did everything listed to turn the game back to fresh install and still left the only the jersey and court patches in.

didn't work.

So I uninstalled everything, including render patches, tony's gfxpack thing with the logos and re-opened the game.

I go to play in Cleveland with no patches, kaput, nothing.

Crashes to the desktop.

I know something can be done here, maybe someone could help.

I can explain better, but I just want to get some ideas.

Obviously this is too confusing for everyone, including myself.

I will work it out.

I know that there is an issue with some patches not working if the user is running nba live 2003 without a cd (like with the "no cd" cracks that are around). That's the only thing I can think of that might be your problem. If it is, the only solution is to run the game as normal, from the cd.

Some patches, especially some jersey updates, make my game crashing, too...I have to uninstall them otherwise I cannot play anymore.
And I always play with CD!

I bought the game at Best Buy.

Sorry that didn't help; the only other thing I can say is that some of the patches use larger textures, and in the case of my rucker park patch, it's changing a lot of elements of the game, so it could be any number of issues. My advice is to re-install nba live 2003 (back-up any files that you might want to save) and try installing one patch at a time, checking to see if the game works in all modes of gameplay. I wish I had an easier, more definite answer, but since I don't have the abilty to test my patches on multiple systems and configurations, this is the best I can offer.

Do you think installing the courts, jerseys and backboard in with gfxpack would make a difference?
