multiple players on 1 PC?

Thu Jun 29, 2006 2:19 pm

Well I know I am kinda late, but I just got NBA LIVE 2006 as a gift from my wife, her and I would play NBA Live 2000 sharing the keyboard on one computer, and I cant figure out how to have two keyboard players in 2006.

Can someone help? I really hope we can still play like that.

And I know a lot of you may be younger guys, so it's probably funny for you to read that I play basketball games with my wife :P :D

Haha how cute......... But no you cannot play with a single keyboard you must buy a controller or another keyboard. Sorry.

thats what i feared, thanks for the quick reply, the problem is that i dont live in the US or any other one of those industrialized countries and where i live i have to go search far to find a controller, oh well haha, thanks again! (Y)

I have a ton of keyboards though, can you really hook 2 up and play? Hmm....

I think you can, i'm not sure though, you could maybe order a controller from ebay or eb games. They are a lot easier to use. Ask your wife to look for a controller where your wife bought the game.

If you have wireless keyboards, then you can hook up as many as you have usb ports. Infact, you can hook up 1 more than the number of usb ports you have. So if you have 5 usb ports, you can hook up 6 keyboards, the extra one coming from the the traditional keyboard connection.

Hi and welcome to the forums (y)

I think it might be possible to play more than one user on only one keyboard if you manage to edit a new keyboard.cfg file correctly.
Though it's a wild guess, I suppose if you can't get more than one keyboard to work, it's worth a shot..

man, thanks, you guys are smart, never thought about any of that stuff. My wife had her parents buy the game in the US, and gave it to her secretly while we were on vacation in Kansas (lol) and she just gave me the game a few days ago, but of course she didn't know we would probably need a gamepad.
I don't have a wireless keyboard, but that makes sense, thanks, I guess you guys have helped solve my problem, now its just up to me to buy the stuff...

Oh, and I dont know how to edit files :? maybe i need to read more of the other posts to see how to do that...

Men , where you live ??

I live in Argentina ( we dont have a shit , a yes .. cows and football ) but i found a controller in a PC shop.
Maybe you find someone in a comics / hobbyes shop , or a PC shop , or just in a big supermarket.

Ah , or just buy a PS2 controller , and buy the converter ( or "adaptador" ) to the PC.

Or www.mercadolibre.com // www.ebay.com

 Hope you find it !!
