Post Draft Roster Updated 8/9

I dont know why but i couldnt convert the players.dbf into a text file with any of these.

Go to utilities in db commander and select export to ascii file. make sure players.dbf is checked and then export it and save it as a .txt file. thats what I did and it worked.

Yea that didn't really work for me because i didn't really know what to do.

hi bruce wayne,i am now setup your patch and it seems nothing errors occur.

but i want to ask you about your patch.i think you didn't mention in your readme about whether we should use it in our dynasty or our roster.secondly i don't know what your patch can exactly do.is it to save our labour in changing the playerid?if so,that such a great fix on Oleenglish's work!

however, u still cant use it for rosters, im afraid.

But other teams draft real draftees!!!!
I tried to do auto-draft, and cpu drafted real rookies for me...

I downloaded those files again and did all the work again, but it just stays like that...

well if he keeps answering others, why didn't you just PM him? its a direct approach.

if you mean the draft patch, I did that allready.

But if you mean NBA LIVE06, i think I'll try that...

When i convert into a txt file do I leave the players.dbf in there and put the players.txt? If that's correct do i put the clean.exe and the setup.exe in my dynasty folder and then run them.

Bruce, will your thing still work even if I've changed some of the players around? (e.g. I replaced Mustafa Shakur, who pulled out of the draft, with Joel Freeland)

OK,i got it.and then i want to know when should i run the setup.exe into the dynasty folder?is it after i run the NBADRAFT.bat?

i think this is the important thing you haven't mention in your readme file.

hey is there a way to all the rookies in the free agent in season mode?

Guys, i dont get whats so difficult, if you read the readme and the readme of OleEnglish, it should be clear.
1. You run the NBADRAFT.bat
2. Convert your players.dbf to players.txt
3. In the same folder, run the clean.exe
4. In the same folder, run the setup.exe
5. In the same folder, after the draft, run the appearance2.bat

I ran it right after I ran my nbadraft.bat at the beginning of the first season of my dynasty. You run that instead of the old appearance.bat Works great by the way. saves you about 25 minutes of changing id's.

I just searched for players in the game that went to the same school or are from the same country.

I can't download the draft installer.

with the birhtown its very simple. just open birthtown.dbf and search for the city. paste the number to 'BTOWNID'. you can even creat your own birthtown there if its not available
