I like the crappy AI, it gives me a laugh while I'm playing and aren't games meant to be about enjoyment. I love then one when Kerr's talking about the other team losing it's late in the game and they're on the road, but it's their court lol.

you know what I like about the AI? You'll drain like five shots in a row on someone, and they will talk about how the coach has to be pleased with the defense because they are contesting shots. lol

I'm not a big fan of the in-game commentary that Mr. Kerr does for Live 06 but he's a fantastic commentator on television.

hey andrew do you know in what files do they place these sound comments and can we edit it like adding some voice over for edited players name, and also the sound of the arena so that instead of mentioning the number the edited players number he would say his name instead. nevermind if it sounds different as long as it would mention my edited players name.

I'm not really an expert on editing the audio but I believe AUDY06 does let you do that.
Thu Jun 15, 2006 5:38 pm
andrew,
how do you use AUDY06? can you point me to someone who knows how to do it?
thank you very much

As I said, I'm not an expert in that field so I can't give you any pointers. I can't recall any names offhand, it's probably best to ask in Patching Issues or in the AUDY06 release thread in the Announcements section.

andrew,
would you know how to open a file with a .rar extension? need help bcoz the audy 06 is in rar format, i cant open it thanks bro
Tue Jun 20, 2006 3:24 am
If you have the .rar extinction im thinking of, you can use a program simular to winzip called winrar, it extracts files out of both zip and rar compressed files.
OLDVERSIONS OF WINRAR
Current version of winrar

Besides, I think the real problem there is that the commentary AI still has its faults, selecting inappropriate tracks that don't fit the situation; like mentioning things that have happened "all game long" in the first couple of minutes or Steve Kerr talking about the need for a timeout then the game choosing to pull up the bit about it being a hasty decision.
exactly. I am disgusted by the way you guys are naming him...Steve Kerr is a legend, respect the guy damn it!

They're saying the placement of Kerr's speech sucks, which isnt a fault of Kerr's at all. And Fastbreak100, please dont ever suggest Bill Walton, ugh....

i believe steve kerr deserves the respect from us, he not only won 5 championships but did it with 2 teams. yes while it's true that he was a role player and did only little things, he did it with efficiency, remember it was his shot that gave the bulls it's 5th championship, it was his three point snipping that made the spurs won it's 2nd championship. yes he may have a small role but he gives you more than what you ask him. by the way if im not mistaken he still holds the nba record in 3pt fieldgoal in a season at .555, thats making half of all his attepts. and despite the 5 rings he still remains humble.

most of us want payers who dominate, who does not? but remember most of these dominant players never have accomplish what steve kerr has done in their career in the NBA. im not a die hard steve kerr fan but i give respect to whom it is due. peace guys

Steve Kerr is one of the greatest 3 point shooters in the game! He's right up there with Jason Kapono, Ray Allen and company. In fact he is just like Jason Kapono. He's a three point shooter, he has hands, he'd drive it on occasion and he was drafted in the second round. In the words of Jerry Seinfeld "I'm just like you, only successful". (His titles)
