Wow, thanks for the .bat file, that just made this thing a whole lot easier to use, especially with updated versions of rosters. Great job through and through.



deivis - this patch is for all versions, given that you have patches 5-9 installed, this goes through and assigns the right shoes for all the players.

Every time I've started a franchise, and teams start adding FA's during the season, it always bugged me that their shoe colors were off, for instance Elden Campbell gets signed by the Celtics, and gets in the game wearing red shoes. Kinda screws up the reality aspect. Since any team can add any FA, there's no way to predict which player will be playing for which team, hence it would be difficult to match-up the shoe colors. So, in leau of any better ideas, I put together a small .bat file that fixes all the Free Agents' shoes: away = black, home = white or white/black. The shoes were randomly assigned from lookvod's shoes, so there should be a pretty good mix.

At least this way, there won't be any massive color clashes.

This .bat is based on Andrew's latest roster (v1.08) and lookvod/Tie_shen's awesome shoe patch (v 5-9).

Anyway, if someone feels like using this, enjoy.

Just plop it into your saved game folder, and run the .bat.

im missing shoes in the patch. for some reason i only have one colour of the and1 mystique- alston. anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks very much for perfecting this patch , and really appreciate your job !
But still I don't think your idea can solve the problem you have seen perfectly . I check the program which you make and found that your way to solve is just edit all the free agent player's shoe and make they only wear black/white shoes . This way you use can solve the miss matching colour problem but also it may make the court colour a a little boring and what about the Rookie players ?
So with your elicitation I am working on a patch which may partly solve the problem . First change all the free agent player's shoe to "0" (default), and then edit the "teamgear" file to let every team's default shoe match its jersey colour . It's a hard work but the final effect will be lovely .
Anyway , really thank you for your helping ! And if you want to make your dynast perfect , there is a way to edit the computer controlled player's shoe which I have figured out in past version's readme . If you have time you can find out and try it .

Free agent shoes patch.
This patch based on Real Shoes Patch 9.0 , the mainly function of the patch is to make all the free agent player's shoes colour won't be miss matching with the any team's jesey colour . And also it will work on Rookie players .

Installation process :
step 1
Run the "Freeagentpatch" .
BE CAREFUL !This step make all the free agent players' shoe to the "0" default shoe . It may change all the saves , so if you don't want to change all the saves then please temporary move the save away first.

step 2
Move the "teamgear.dbf" to all the saves .
This step will change all the team's default shoes to match it's jersey colour . No matter whether you finish the first step or not, you can just take this step .

I wonder that too. I also miss read me file in acc. 9.0.
