Multiple User Dynasty Mode

I doubt i'm the only one who misses this feature in live. Anyone think they will bring it back for Live 2007? If not, would anyone be willing to start a petition to send to EA Sports so maybe they'll consider it?

I dont' think EA will do this feature. U might make it multiple through DBF editing tho!

I wouldn't rule it out but I'm not holding my breath. As far as a petition goes, it's been included in the Wishlist every year since it was taken out.

when I played Nba Live 03 (when you can choose alot of teams)
I never used more than 1 team.

NBA 2K7 will have multi-player dynasty mode, Live shouldn't be too far behind.

What has happened to this board... I look the other way for 5 minutes and everyone is a frikkin 2k fan boy... This is the sight for NBA Live games and nothing less and nothing more...

A year ago, these 2k things would have been locked up so quickly or moved to the other game section in a heartbeat...

Multiplayer dynasty is pretty hard to implement to a game that needs this much management over time... Like the scouting, the practising etc. that need your attention constantly... I'm sure they will get it done sooner or later, but probably not this year...

The only thing worse than the annual influx of idiots we get when the new Live game comes out, is having to put up with even more of your whining, complaining and lecturing than usual.

About that "keeping people in check"... I see it every year on these very boards (and can't say that I have not sometimes been the cause) such hyping that the game will ultimately have no chance of being a success... It will always disappoint and thus come the posts "EA is bringing out the same damn game every year", "They shafted us again" messages that are bound to follow since the game didn't live up to the expectations that they had in their heads... I'm trying to keep it real and not get all caught up in a fantasy world that we all have where NBA Live is just about the best game that has ever been released. I know the one, I keep wishing it were the next Live, but I know better and I hope that everyone gets a clue and they realize this as well... Unless people, me, you and everyone realize that the game is more than likely to be nothing like the dream game we have in mind the more likely it will have something that will surprise us and we might find some satisfaction from the game... But if you are expecting perfect game for you, the game doesn't stand a chance.

I followed Master Of Orion 3 release for 2 years and it was a total bomb... I walked right into it... The game was just awful excel knock-off...

I can't believe we got into a flaming war... Unbelievable... That's a first for me. How's it with you Jae? I mentioned "2k" and "fanboy" in the same sentence and all of a sudden I had EA's private parts too close to my liking... Don't be so sensitive. I try not to be, but I have my weak moments.

But how long was I gone before the February... My last posts before that are probably from last november or october... I did check in to see what the "wishlist" looked like in February, but haven't really been following whats going on here.

First of all, I'd like to say that I do think you've been a very good poster Metsis, you're an enthusiastic fan and I think we need more people who, like you, are willing to articulate their ideas about the series without just throwing insults about. We need more posters like that.

But having said that, I do feel you're off the mark here. There's no harm in mentioning what the opposition has done or has in the works, it's a fair enough point to compare. Also, since the issue of hardware limitations has come up the last couple of years it's interesting to note what other games have been doing and how they are taking advantage of the same hardware and that's all that's been done here; Jae's done nothing wrong or out of place.

For the record, Tuomas (previously known as Finnboy) was out for a bit because he didn't have much free time but he's been a part of the patchmaking team for a while. Jae's been around since the old forum and I believe he's been a mod in this one for at least a year and a half, so he's not exactly new to the position. I think he does a great job and a lot for the community, which is why he's a member of the team. Again, I don't believe he's done anything wrong here.

I hope you'll reconsider your position and continue to contribute the Forum as you have done these past three or four years.

Imagine his reaction to live when its released if hes that defensive about it now.

The bottom line is Jae is sacrificing his time and effort for the community: what are you doing exactly apart from tooting your own horn? Jae doesnt get paid for it, and he does exceptional work here. You should not be demanding or expecting of him, rather you should be giving praise to him.

To be honest, I think Live 06 may be my last in the series which is a bit sad. The prospect of 2k7 looks to appealing in comparison. I'm hoping that Live 07 will surprise me but I'm not holding my breath. Once I get my X360 (1 more week) I will probably game exclusively on console, which is not good for Live in my regard. Without the patching and such the game will be a little shallower unless it is a quality product. Who knows, maybe it will be great. If it is competitive I will be satisfied and will play it with as much enthusiasm as every other year.

Yeah I saw your scathing review (among others) in the other games section. Going to get 2k6, basicly the reason why I'm buying my first console since the good ol' PS1. Must admit though your 2k6 basically pushed me over the line to get 360 and make the transition from live to the 2k series. ANyway, don't wanna drift too far off topic...

This is very useful when you want to create a dynasty with friends so you can have your own teams. It's a lot of fun.. I still don't see why EA took it out.

Me and my friend's play 03 dynasty mode alot but just sim everything.

I think they should have this in NBA Live 07. I hate not getting to play against my friend in dynasty mode because he would pick sacramento because of Brad Miller and Mike Bibby. I would probably pick an underdog in dyansty mode like Charlotte, Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, Utah, Golden State. I would hope they would go up to 8 teams but if not then at least 2-4 players can play as GM.
