Discussion about NBA Live 2003.

here it is: play a game with cpu assistance on, and then rematch the same game with cpu ass off. I noticed that it's impossible, at least by my way of playing live 2003, to play a decent game with assistance off. First, because it's impossible to defense against cpu, and then because your team mates seem to be dumb, they don't follow the fastbreaks as they do with assistance on, don't defense at all...
So i suggest to all who have difficulties in playing this game to turn the cpu assistance on. The games will be closer and the gameplay much better.

You just need to practice. You wont win at first, but you will later on.

The problem with CPU assistance is that once you master the game, CPU assistance will just prove to be frustrating and you will probably lose games that you should not - simply because all of a sudden your players forget how to play basketball and the CPU can do no wrong.

at first i was playing with CPU assistance ON in superstar mode, but the AI is just doing nothing wrong when I am leading in the final minute, makes me lose the game as they shoot 3's n 3's on me. With CPU assistance OFF, its better as AI will not be perfect. But I have to make a difficult run when I am down.

I totally agree with kaydigi on this one. I kept playing exibition games, getting used to the freestyle controls, play calling and most important
playing good defense.
About 12 games into my season with Seattle and my record is 8-4, currently on a 4 game win streak.
