What kind of problems did you say people were having the ps2 to pc controller adapter. (The thing that lets you use your ps2 controller for pc)

I was just thinkin about gettin one but I remembered you said some people had problems with it.

I don't remember saying that...at least in regards to technical problems. I know you can't completely reconfigure the controls using the PS2 to PC adapter. I can't remember saying anything else about the adapter (though that's not to say I didn't).

Maybe I read something wrong then but anyways. Would I be able to configure the controller to what the controls are right now on PS2?

I think you can only configure the controls to match the PS2 layout...so yes, you can. :)

Well I got it, but I am a little disappointed. I set the controls to exactly what they are on ps2. Everything works great except for the freestyle. Tell me if this is how it is for you and everyone else.

When I use the right analog stick for the freestyle on say, offense, it does not perform those moves really until AFTER I let go of the analog stick. It hurts most on some fast breaks when I have one man to beat and I just start moving the freestyle all over to cross him up or something, but since I have to release it, it's sometimes too late and my guy just spins himself out of bounds.

And for defense, say I put my hands up (up on the analog stick), the hands stay up the whole time unless I switch guys, which can be annoying.

On my ps2, the free style moves happen when I do them, not when I release the analog stick.

Is this just how it is on PC?

You don't have to release the right analog stick to perform the freestyle moves (you have to release the left analog stick after you've chosen a direction while holding the ball in the triple threat position, same as the PS2). The players' arms should not remain raised either. It's likely there's a problem with the controller setup.
