Defenders on roller skates

Is there to way to stop a player when he catches it a few feet away from the restricted area, I have a defender right on him and he does a lightning quick jump towards the basket and dunks the ball. All my defender does is slide back like he's on roller skates.

you cant do anything about it its a bug

Probably more a design flaw/shortcoming rather than a bug but in any case, there's nothing that can be done about it.
