Classic Teams 1 released. Classic teams 2 cancelled :(

the most famous squad they had back then was,

1. Patrick Ewing- Center

2. Charles Oakley- Power Forward

3. Larry ( Granma ) Johnson- Strong Forward

4. John Starks- Shooting Guard

5. Derrick Harper (edit is who i meant)- Point Guard

now im not sure about the bench, but i remeber charles smith comingoff the bench!!!

yah sure.. use what you want but make sure you give the correct people credit.I made the majority of the patches but some are from other people.You can find there names in the readme.

I thin '94 Knicks... In this season they finally beat the Bulls in a playoffs series and they made it to the finals only to be beaten by the Rockets

93-94 Knicks had the best record with Ewing in his prime, and made the finals. That team also had Oakley, Starks, Derrek Harper, Doc Rivers, Charles Smith, and Anthony Mason(who had the team logo shaved into his fade).

This is pretty neat - can't wait for the next version with the '97 Utah Jazz!

cp3 you dont see a readme.txt file? not to mention all the files are in the folders they need to be already, just drop em in.

I finished the 02 Kings and the 00 Blazers since theyre easier to do because the majority of the players are still in the game.Heres a little sneak peak. click on the picture to enalrge.

Ahh, the Blazers that rivaled the Jazz for so long. Sweet! That was a great team: 'Sheed, Sabonis, Stoudamire, etc.

I would like to see either the 94 Knicks that went to the finals (Ewing, Oakley, Mason, Starks, D. Harper) or the 99 Knicks that went to the finals in the shortened season (Ewing, Camby, LJ, Sprewell, Houston)

those are my favorite 2 squads from the 90s Knick teams

I' ve been trying to install this classic teams-roster add on for about 2 hours now and i can't get it to work.
I've been doing everything as told in the readme.txt, but....

So that's why i have to turn to you experts to give me some pointers.

This is what i've done so far:

1. Extracted the RAR-file to C:\Documents and Settings\Tomppa\My Documents\NBA LIVE 06\saves

2. I copied the sgsm- & fe-folders to C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA Live 06

When i load the classic-roster and try to play with a classic team, the whole program crashes just before the loading is completed.
The classic teams appear on the team lists, but there isn't any info on them (logo, name), only rating. I had to check from the starting lineup, which team was which.

I tried emptying the sgsm- and fe-folders (incl. subfolders) to C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA Live 06, but i didn't work.


There aren't any other roster-patches in NBA Live 06 -folder, so that shouldn't be the problem.

Screenshots at the beginning of this thread look awesome, so i REALLY would like to get this working.

Very strange that you guys are having this problem.Looks like you you followed the instructions.I'm not sure what to tell you man.

1,000 downloads and 3 people cant load it.I'm stumped

Maybe you have to reinstall the game....if you want to try that

Classic teams folder goes into my documents/nbalive 06 / saves

fe and sgsm into your c:/ program files/ea sports/nba live 06 folder.

that's pretty much it.....Hopefully you guys get it working

I love this mod! The only problem is some of the player ratings are questionable. But no biggy. The Bad Boys vs. the 96 Bulls...it doesn't get much better than that!

The 94 Knicks are ones I'd do first. Then prob the 97-98 Knicks when they had those wars with Miami (LJ, Allan Houston, Charlie Ward).

1999 Knicks with Camby, Sprewell and Ewing would be awesome to see with the accurate jerseys.

I mentioned this on the other board, the center logo in the Boston Garden is wrong....

looks great otherwise, I love that dorna with the "16 championships" in the boston garden, I remember seeing that back in the day

Looks like my hard drive decided to die right after i completed the 94 Knicks team

02 sacramento ,00 Portland,
93 Phoenix ,94 New york were finished (players and Courts).... A whole month of work is gone .
I dont think i want to start from scratch again... so I apologize to all the people waiting for this patch. Hopefully i can add some classic teams for Nba Live 07.
