jersey making question

0k i used bigmann58 or soemthing tutorial and i made the jersey, but i have no preview, the tutorial has a summary and says step 8 is teh previews but i only seem to have upto step 7, if anyone has the otehr steps i coudl really use them thx

I'm not sure what you're missing, but I wrote a tutorial here on how to make the preview, based on what Bassman58 taught me.

i hink i get everything threw step 6 for sure of 7 in the totural. i made what i wanted imported into the currect viv, then sentcopied the viv back in place, in this case to : G:\sports\EA SPORTS\nbalive 06\sgsm\uniforms so what i miss. its a sort of eary 80 version of the sixers for agen, speifc home one

Okay, so you're at the DBF editing? Can you find the folder called NBA Live 06 in My Documents? It should have a 'saves' subfolder.

yes, but why i need that. i'm simply redoing an exsisting jersey namely the agen home fifor my first attept. i ill do what i need to if i know what to look for and why i need it.

If you're just replacing an existing jersey, then you don't need to edit the .dbf, just make sure you're new jersey has the same name as the one you want to replace.

that what i need., but isnst showing up. i i ubsed the oorngial viv file for the i want, then after making chnages i needed to th dih impoet into the fsh a peice needs, tehn i remane the fsh to the right name, then import throw files into the viv, anddo the code thing until it sstops close bigg anf copy the viv into the unifrom replacing the uniorm i want. whats wrong there.

I'm not sure. What exactly isn't showing up? Is it the preview in the jersey select screen? Did you try to play with your jersey?

i mean nothing. the new i know i'm putting is in the right place, and i'm talking abut preview yet, i hancvet' worked on a preview for it yet, just the jersey showing up. its still the orginal agen home jerseyy, and my replace isn't appearing. this during 1 on one in th gym, if that makes any differance.

It shouldn't make a difference ... what file did you make and where did you put it?

the one i replaced is agenhome.viv the one i used for my base is is the phi82home basicly wih the mod i did to it and placed here in my system

i new is a cross bentween one ofphil 82 home and the a bit of the 80 all star. this a tril run, buecase i have big project i want do, but using that as foot step to learn what to do.

Hmm. Try putting just the .fsh file with the jersey (and/or the numbers, if you changed them) into the sgsm folder and see if that works.

i still not been able to get the jersey to apper so idaes if anyone read the thread or knows what im doing and need to to.

i thought one other idea but that didnt work and was to make sure the read only was unckecked in uniofrm folder

ther egot to be something i'm missing. if ono as idea and would like a copy of the file and see if there something they can tell wrong and help me,your welcome have me send you a copy. its suppose o be the home jersey for the free agents so you know what i'm working on

can anyone tell me is there any reason if I followed the turial and other suggestions made to this thread why my replaced jersey won't show up. anything at all. i'm at my wits end trying to figure out how to solve this one.

i'd really like to do this, and i'm enjoying the remakes, but i like to have them in the game working. if it would help i can send one of them to one foyu wih esperiance at thsis and see if you can see it somehow and if there some reason they can tell i can't.
