How to "PROPERLY" Delete Jordan, Robinson from DBF

Sat Jun 28, 2003 4:12 pm

setting their team to 32 doesnt help when doing franchise mode, how do I correctly remove them completely from the roster/DBF file. please help. i am creating a new roster that is why. the sooner the response the sooner an updated roster with all new rookies is available.

Set their ISCREATED attribute to True (or check the Created box in the Toolkit) and then delete them from the Created Players List.

i accidently deleted them using the toolkit but i didnt check them as created. they arent showing in the dbf file, but when you go to franchise they are still showing in the draft, but they arent playable. any suggestions on what to do at this point? thanks man.

Do you have a backup of the file you are working on, before you deleted players using the Toolkit? If so, go back to it and delete the desired players through the method I posted above. There's not much you can do with the file you are currently working on.

CDBF for DOS is good for deleting players definitely (something that Access can't do).

if you put a player on a team that doesn't show in the game seems easy enough.

change Jordan to team 41 and list him as true in ishistoric.

he won't appear again and won't be drafted in the rookie draft or full league draft.
