whats your most impressive individual season averages?

Thu Apr 13, 2006 6:10 pm

i won the MVP award with SHAQ in my miami dynasty
these were my season averages

33.5 ppg
13.2 reb
10.4 ast
10.7 blk
2.2 stl

funny enough, he retired after the next season

i played on all star, 12 min quarters, and used player lock alot of the time. id usually dish out of the double team and shoot with whoever caught the ball to rack up assists. block sliders were both at 100 i must admit....

in my cleveland dynasty, for the season, i averaged a .... i dunno what to call it (5 double?) with lebron...

24.7 ppg
11.2 reb
13.3 ast
10.2 blk
10.7 stl

i wish i could say i had screenshots.... but i play xbox...

my highest scoring average was in my lakers dynasty....

kobe bryants end of season stats

53.6 ppg
8.4 reb
5.2 ast
2.2 blk
4.5 stl

my pistons dynasty, end of season....

ben wallace won defensive mvp to say the least

14.2 ppg
21.3 rpg
2.4 ast
14.0 blk
4.3 stl

please post yours.... and what comes after quadruple double by the way????

Thu Apr 13, 2006 7:27 pm

I guess that after quadrupple comes just simple "five times".

Thu Apr 13, 2006 7:30 pm

According to wikipedia it's called a Quintuple Double.

Thu Apr 13, 2006 7:54 pm

Thanx, this forum makes me more clever :-) But i think its almost impossible to make quintuple double in real life. Points, assists and rebounds seem to be no problem (relatively) but then to grab even plus 10 blocks and steals... Dare for A.I.!!

That's more a dare for Shaq

james - i think you need to play on a different difficulty level... your stats are amazing

Thu Apr 13, 2006 9:04 pm

Its a double nickel

Fri Apr 14, 2006 12:14 am

your sliders must be too easy Big Ben getting 14 blocks a game  and Shaq averaging 10 assists  whats the world coming to

yeh... nvm the Lebron quintuple double

Fri Apr 14, 2006 11:46 am

22 points
10 rebounds and
9 assist
with lamar odom on superstar in 9 minute quarters.

Fri Apr 14, 2006 11:54 am

For some reason thats hard to believe.

Fri Apr 14, 2006 2:02 pm

14 PPG
13 RPG
4 APG

w/ Okafor in my dynasty!

Fri Apr 14, 2006 2:10 pm

Stephon Marbury

32.1 ppg
4.3 rpg
8.7 apg

I did a fantasy draft and Lebron got hurt, so Steph stepped up.

Fri Apr 14, 2006 5:14 pm

This is in real life:

On January 3, 2006, against the Los Angeles Lakers, Kirilenko posted an amazing statline of 14 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists, 6 steals and 7 blocks. This was the third time in his career he has scored in double figures and racked up at least 5 in all of the other relevant categories. Arguably, his statline is one of the closest performances to a quintuple double in NBA history.

In 1987, Hakeem Olajuwon had 38 points, 17 rebounds, 12 blocks, 7 steals, and 6 assists for the Houston Rockets in a double-overtime win over the Seattle SuperSonics

Also:

In NBA history, only four players have recorded quadruple-double performances (there have yet to be any quintuple-double performances). They are:

Nate Thurmond, October 18, 1974, Chicago vs. Atlanta; 22 points, 14 rebounds, 13 assists, 12 blocks

Alvin Robertson, February 18, 1986, San Antonio vs. Phoenix; 20 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 steals

Hakeem Olajuwon, March 29, 1990, Houston vs. Milwaukee; 18 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists, 11 blocks

David Robinson, February 17, 1994, San Antonio vs. Detroit; 34 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 blocks

Fri Apr 14, 2006 5:50 pm

Wow good stats Sam Bryne (Y)

That's not impressive. It's closer to realistic...

Sat Apr 15, 2006 8:08 pm

Yup. I agree. He probably was playing on Rookie

Sun Apr 16, 2006 7:44 am

im averaging 27.8, 9.2 boards, 7.9 assists and like 1.5 and 0.6 steals and blocks right now with lebron in my dynasty, and for 2 months( not in a row) he averaged a triple double 8-)

Mon Apr 17, 2006 3:06 am

wow, some people just cant grasp the concept that you can average a quadruple double......

these are my settings as of when i posted these numbers

although im thinking i might give andrew's sliders a try now

i used player lock. i usually made my cpu controlled teamate shoot after i passed him the ball, and i crashed the boards every time a shot went up and kicked it back out to a shooter. admittedly, id get alot of offensive rebounds and assists this way. i got alot of steals by calling double teams and also i'd defend the cpu's point gaurd and get alot of blocks that way. (with lebron i put him at point, and with his height and jump ability it was easy to get alot of blocks) its not too hard to post big numbers so long as you dont get in foul trouble and have to sit your player down alot.
