Some suggestions on the roster patch

Tue Apr 11, 2006 10:48 pm

Hey,Andrew,I have a suggestion.
Can you adjust the rating relating to the team play style when you do the next roster patch?
For example ,you could raise all the players of Detroit Piston 5 points on there defensive aware or the Utah Jazz 5 points on their passing cuz they have a fluently offensive strategy and the Sacremanto as well?
I think then when using the roster patch ,we can play the same style as it in real . :)

I don't think doing that will help much...

No, I won't boost ratings simply to make the team's overall rating look better. Sorry.

I didn't mean to boost ratings of the team.My suggestion is that to increase some specific rating of the team which is due to their play style ,such as passing or defensive awareness or 3pt(Suns).It is nothing related to the team's overall rating ,just edit their single one rating.

I see. That won't change the style of play, just the individual player production. Sorry, but I won't be making those sorts of changes unless it's necessary for the player.

I think what he means is edit the team's overall (as in all players) rating for one particular facet of gameplay. Not players' ratings, and not teams' overall (as in all fields) ratings. Your point still, I believe, applies though.

Well...that's kind of what he's suggesting I guess. Basically, it's a change that's not going to have the desired results so I won't be doing it.

No,maybe you got me wrong.I mean the single rating such as defensive awareness ratings for all the Detroit players, passing ratings of all the Utah or Sacremento players cuz they have a fluently offensive strategy .
Perhaps you said is right that it wont help,so that's it.

Thanks for the confirmation. But what I said still stands. ;)
