also and the most important aspect of nba vid games is that nba live 06 [again, not the 360 version] actually had the players play like they should. the bigs actually got a look in, the stars played and got the ball like they should and the teams ran actual plays.
this is a must for live 07 on the 360. there is no excuse for a next gen game to not have a balanced game of ball where the stars or pf's/C's dont get the ball or dont play like they should. ie Nowitzki only getting shots from the post etc..

Even though I had a ball doing so, it's not right that you can use the POWER PLAYERS to each average 100+ pts per game, like I'm doing right now with Kenyon Martin just for laughs.
Live 2005 was the one that got it right, along with NBA 2K6, and NBA 2K3.

ahh but kmart wasnt a powerplayer in my customised live. only amare was. i adjusted the attributes of every player. the default live attributes were way off. i mean marbury and francis, heck. any star guard was a defensive stopper and thats a joke.
i didnt have too many freestyle superstars in my game. only a small % had superstar abilities. not 3 or so members from one team.
the freestyle moves could be abused. so in the interest of realism and simgame play. i removed them from most.
the game played much better because of it, but......the catch, the downside was the simmed scores were all screwed up for some reason.
redd would only take 4 shots a game, kobe would only average 19ppg. ilguaskas lead the league in scoring.... it was crazy and very frustrating. i dont know how that happened. but the actual in game game play was tops.

i like live 06 more because of the customization(ps2), in 2k6 you couldnt even change the shoes of your player during an association, and i also hated the music, but the thing i hated most was the rookie portaits, i played with the cavs, and drafted a 7 ft centre after my first season, but his portrait was of a young zydrunas ilgauskas, so basically i had an old and young Z on my team, it pissed me off...
i also like lives development more that 2k's, and i just love lives gamplay alot more and the music is TONS better
