Denver looses to Memphis
January 15, 2005
Memphis Grizzlies - 116
Denver Nuggets - 109
Boxscore missing (Post-game roster)
Game Recap: The Grizzlies came out swinging after their 3 week break. And they took control of the game early, a lot thanks to Pau Gasol that had 14 points in the first quarter, and 25 points and 8 rebounds at half-time. The other starters didn't have such a good game though (except for Hakim Warrick who played very well), and the bench players got a fair share of playing-time. One that took advantage of that was Arvydas Macijauskas who was shooting great and managed to get 15 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. In the second half, the Denver Nuggets managed to go on a 14-2 run to cut the lead to 5, however they never got any closer than that as the Grizzlies managed to turn up their intensity on defence and were able to shut down the Nuggets very efficiently.
By the way: no box scores this time thanks to that I simmed a few days too much after I played the game...

- Pau Gasol got the 'Player of the Game' with his 33 points and 16 rebounds
- Darko Milcic continued playing well on the defence, as he had 4 blocks
