Talk about NBA Live 06 here.

here.
Key features of v1.07:
- 2005/2006 Rosters accurate as of 25/03/06
- Player ratings updated
- Primacy ratings adjusted for better shot distribution
- Player positions and data updated/corrected
A couple of notes:
- I've noticed a couple of other problems with readjusted Primacy the last couple of updates. If anyone wants to report any strange simulated results, by all means let me know so I can investigate those players and make adjustments accordingly.
- If I haven't made a particular rating change you suggested, chances are I didn't agree with it and either left it as it was or changed the rating to one I felt was more appropriate. In most cases this is my final word on the matter for now, so please don't keep suggesting the same changes if I have already declined to use them.

- As with all the updates, I'd like to avoid changing ratings back and forth; back in the days of NBA Live 2004 I changed Peja's three point rating from update to update until I finally had enough and settled on a fair and realistic mid ground. I like to skip to that final step these days.

- Remember that I prefer to assign ratings based on the entire season so I don't like to make huge boosts based on short stretches of play, so I might not raise or lower a rating as much as you might expect. Because I have to allow for a player's performance over an entire season, I can't change a player's ratings too much every time they go on a tear or enter a slump, otherwise I'm changing the ratings back and forth every other update (see above).
- The usual: if a lineup isn't up to date or a transaction doesn't appear to have been made, check the release date against your information. The update is only accurate as of the time it was released and with the new rules regarding the inactive roster, lineups in particular can become outdated overnight.
- The rosters have been tested thoroughly and should not crash at any point. Remember to use the birthstate.dbf/birthtown.dbf fix if you run into any trouble.
- And as always...please don't ask when the next version will be out. When I have that information, I'll update the Release Date thread. As always more information about release dates can be found in the aforementioned thread.
I think that's all for now. Download it, use it, give feedback on it and hopefully above all, enjoy it.

Thanks Andrew, great job. A few suggestions:
Luke Schensher would dominate at high school level. Please adjust his overall rating to 87 to reflect this.
Paul Pierce is the greatest player in the history of basketball, I feel an overall of 99 is sufficient.
Bump Orien Greene's dunking 2 points and his 3 point shooting 1 point. I saw him hit a three once in some game. It might not have been him but I think it was.
Can you please PM me a NOCD crack for NBA Live 06, The Godfather and also Grand Theft Auto.
Thank you.

Hey Andrew.. just a question... wat save files are included in the roster patch?
And if theres a roster file with the start of the season rosters... are the player ratings updated in that?

I believe I've covered that in UPDATE.txt, but here it is again:
NLSC0506 (Up to date 05/06 rosters)
0506Uninjured (Up to date 05/06 rosters ignoring injuries)
If I do an opening night file in future versions, it will be based off the most current roster so yes, it will have all the updated ratings too.
lol rockets..
Not sure what you mean by that, I find constructive criticism a lot more helpful but basically I'm not going to decrease the ratings of the players simply so the Rockets are rated lower overall, just as I won't boost/decrease ratings only to make a player's overall rating look "better".

Thanks for releasing it but when i d/l it and tried to open it it said that the file was invalid or corrupt. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so can someone help me solve this problem?

Andrew. I don't know how to instalation the new patch to my dinasty save roster folder (season). How to do it?
Mon Mar 27, 2006 6:29 am
Great Job as always.
one thing, are you sure it was right to cancel Joe Johnson freestyle? he leads atlanta in steals and scoring and you cancelled his Scoorer Out and Stopper Out abilites.

How about an update for Charlie V and Joey Graham?
CV: .319 from 3 range on the season, currently has a 45 3pt and 20 range, maybe up to 60 3pt and 23 range?
JG: .343 from 3 range on the season, currently has a 34 3pt and 20 range, maybe up to 55 3 pt and 23 range?
Also, while I was looking I noticed Rip Hamilton leads the league in 3-point %, maybe he needs an update? It should be higher than 73, I think.
I'll keep looking in to the Bucks and Nets jerseys.

why did you remove the defensive stopper from the two pistons, did you feel it entirely neccessary?

tell me about it, rasheed is one of the best post scorers in the game and you took away his inside scoring? also he is the pistons best post defender, ben is the better all around defender but sheed is the best post defender. thanx for making rip a scorer!
Mon Mar 27, 2006 9:11 am
rip should be a scorer but i have no idea what was going through your head when you took away sheeds and tayshauns stopping ability, seriously man, especially tayshuan, hes one of the best defenders in the NBA
Mon Mar 27, 2006 9:14 am
no offense to andrew but this roster is kind of disappointing
Mon Mar 27, 2006 9:27 am
why the hell is princes block rating only a 40. thats bs. it should at least be 80 at the lowest
Mon Mar 27, 2006 9:38 am
take away both Joe Johnson's stopper and scorer and take his 3s down? just because hes in atlanta and no one cares doesnt mean he sucks now.
