Rating Machine 2.3 -- RELEASED !!!

I dont get the teams total points and stuff? How do u find that stuff out?

as i wrote on the readme....just go to www.nba.com/mavericks/stats for example...and you will find everything...just read the total stats table...

did you use it with a roster for live 2005?
it can't be used with that...cause of the superstar abilities...
2.2 works cause it don't updates them...

Just be sure that you read the readme file !! It's really important to avoid some questions.

Just use the 2.2 for Live 2005. We're really busy and we still have to make the euro version. And I hate this game, really

i try to edit Orien Greene and Ryan Gomes from the celtics and i ger an ERROR

That ERROR of GOMES and other created players is because of Andrew's rosters. I mean... He didn't fill the CASH_TEAM field in dbf for his created players. You can update this players with 2.20 or edit them totally with 2.3 just changing the CASH_TEAM field in players.dbf to the appropiate team ID.

The only thing that I hate is that, it pretty much makes every player worse when you update them with the program. Like almost every player that I updated they ended up losing their freestyle. the only person that actually gained a freestyle was RIP hamilton.

That's pretty accurate, really. There's so many players in EA's default rosters who have unjust FSS abilities, or are vastly overrated. I'm having a problem with 2.3 in that every time I try to use it it says the player does not exist

did you spell name and surname right and with the right caps?
maybe the players you are trying to update are created players...and like cervantes said there is a problem with some fields of the dbf...

It's really normal, don't worry. EA wanted to give lots of superstar abilities, and that was their priority even more important than accurated player ratings this year. For example: Bowen will loose steal points, so he will loose the outside stopper ability, Jefferson the same, Carter won't be a shooter ( because he realy isn't ), and so on...

Also my other question is, does the affect the overall rating of the players?? Cause I updated Darko Milicic, but his rating pretty much stayed at i think its 60 or 57 cant remember which one? The next update, it would be nice if it affected the overall ratings.

No, this ain't affect overalls. What you have to do is to enter and edit the players you modified with the rating machine. So when you press finish the game will re-calculate his new rating.

could you upload 2.3 to a different site or someone send me it, because the sites not working for me.

I did a re-rate of the Bucks and Micheal Redd is no longer a shooter...thats ridiculous.
