simulation problem

At the begining of the season vince carter was avg. 30pts per game 7rebs and 4 ast and was the top MVP candiate when he came back from an injury that like in jan. everytime i sim he avgs like 5pts a game 4 rebs and 3 ast and oblviously isnt an mvp candiate anymore but is leading the legue in pts per game field goals and free throws....can anyone telll me was the problem is and how to fix it?

primacy probably, its a hidden stat you need to do some dbf editing to change. the cpu changes it through the course of a season, so for some reason it has probably change vinces primacy ot a low #. primacy affects how many shots a guy gets in sim mode.

I hate having to go and change my primacy ratings everytime some one gets injured

A bug that I hope is fixed in NBA Live 07. I've got a list of fixes for prominent players/ones who often get their Primacy adjusted you might find helpful. Otherwise you might want to refer to the default rosters/my roster update to find their original Primacy ratings.

Unfortunately that fix is only possible on the PC version, since you can't modify any of the hidden ratings on the consoles.
