Create a team mode

I wasn't too sure where to post this, i suppose i am suggesting this but I also remember that in nba live 2000 or 2001 you could create a team with jersey logos, name etc. I was just wondering which game did they decide to take this feature out, cos i've been looking for an nba game with this since. Anyone have any idea? Cheers

NBA Live 2000 was the last Live to include the Custom Team feature. Since then, it's been a staple of the Wishlists (including this year).

Thanks, damn it thats what I thought. Why did they take it out? it was a great feature. Are there any plans to add it again? Or are there any more rescent basketball games which have a create a team feature?

We can only speculate as to why it hasn't made a return yet. I really don't know if we'll see it any time soon but I certainly hope so.

NBA 2K6. Only other game that's decent I can think of.

yes it does. its pretty basic. with about 8 or so team logos that have their own jerseys etc. u can then name the team and coach and pick your playbook thats it.
but hey its better than not having a create a team...
there simply is no excuse for not having it.
this is a must.
give us the gamers choice. the more choices the better the game.
more sliders. more editing ability, more customiziation. more choices....
please. EA.

Great, i'll check it out. I think EA are complete morons. Why add features to a game only to take them out again? Its ridiculous, another thing i noticed they removed was that in 2003 you could give created players nicknames so the announcers would say something other than there numbers, I thought this was a great solution for the commentry on created players, then I borrowed 2005 from a friend, and the feature had been removed. And i've heard of the lack of Dynasty mode on the 360, talk about a step in the wrong direction. Imagine how much live would have if they just kept everything!
