rookie progress

In my bulls franchise, I traded for the number 1 draft pick, a 6-11 SF with 87 3-pointers. In his 1st season he averaged 39pts, 6reb and 5 assists. He shot 60+% 3's in the season and +70+% in the playoffs. I won the championship, all of this on superstar level. Going into the next season his ratings dropped, and his 3's down to 85, all of this with a career pack of A. Does anyone know why this happens or how I can stop it from happening?

Well the CAREERPKG is a "chance" thing. If it is A...it has a high chance of improving greatly...if it's an F...it has a low chance.

In your case you were unlucky...but give him 3 years and he'll probably better than he started out to be...it happened to me in my recent franchise too.

its not cuz his package is A, that he evolves "A-wise" evry time and becomes a superstar, the cpu randomly choses that any season i think, but lots of chance his ratings go up after a year again.

A CAREERPKG of A will not guarantee a player will develop into a superstar, but he has the best odds of improving throughout his carrer (up until the age of 32).

maybe its coz of his second possition, PFs dont shoot 3s!

It's because of his CAREERPKG, nothing else.
