PLEASE HELP! Game Messed Up...

Hope someone can help me out here. My game worked fine for the longest time, but for some reason, when I load up the game now, the text won't show up. And on the startup screen, it says: "$txt_startup_license_info." The menu music is gone too. Everything works fine, but none of the text shows up. Either that or there's a "$" before certain words.

I tried re-installing, but that didn't work either. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
