Ratings higher than 99

Thu Jun 12, 2003 2:44 pm

Is it possible to edit ratings to higher than 99? I was able to do this in nbalive 2000. Thanks for any help.

I've encountered problems when trying to do this with the Toolkit. I don't think it's possible - or if it is, there is no benefit to it.

oh i though i heard someone who was able to get around it and edit past 99. Don't know what he used to do it with though.

It's probably possible with DB Commander or any other raw DBF editor. I don't think it would make much difference though - once a player has 99 in a particular rating, he's pretty good in that field.

ive noticed something kinda odd about ratings: like in the game, the rating may show, for example...ummm....54. but when i open up the dbf, it shows it like 10pts higher. WHY???????? I also noticed that like in the game it shows 99, but the dbf shows 98...another....WHY????????

Thank You :)

The rating u see in the DB-Editor is the normal rating. In the game it will show the EA-rating. For example you give a player a 50 in Freethrows in the Editor, he will have a 75 in the game!
