yeah... please do not do the thing with just making the image bigger. get a bigger megapixel camera, and take a picture of your face.. and try to get your hair out of your eyes too

Yeah don't resize it just to make it bigger, it'll make the pic lose quality.

yeah make sure the the pic of your head is around 512times512 pixels, even 400times400 is good enough i think
