Stupid Question; Please Help Anyway!

Hey guys, I know this is kind of a stupid question. I'm not trying to be sarcastic or anything, but my NBA Live 06 game broke for my PS2. It has a few scrateches here and there; Nothing major. But on the right side of the disc, it has a pretty deep cut. Any tips on how to clean the game's? Or what to try to clean them with? Thanks.
