Simulated stats - ps2

Mon Feb 06, 2006 8:29 pm

Hi, it's been a long time since i've been on the forum, but i'm just wondering. I've got the PS2 version of Live 06, and one "bug" that i've noticed is that when a player is seriously injured, ie unable to play, once he returns to the team, his shooting attempts take a serious dive.

An example, I had the first year of my Bulls' dynasty going, and Ben Gordon suffered a strained achilles tendon, he was out for a couple of weeks, and then he made his gradual return, and finally complete recovery. But what i noticed is that his FG attempts barely rose above 3 shots per game. Turning an 18 ppg scorer, into someone who only averaged about 5ppg for the rest of the season.

These are simulated games i'm talking about. If any other ps2 users have encountered this problem or know how to fix it, I'm all ears....a very ugly person.

It's a bug in this year's game on all platforms, where the Primacy ratings (amongst others) are recalculated and essentially messed up.

that sucks, I never noticed :P Though I created my self(99 ovl :P) and I got a broken thumb then a sprained thumb, but I won ROM with 28.8 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 7.8 apg, and around 3 SPG. So the stats there didn't go down. But that's a created player...

I simmed though a dynasty the other day just checking the boxscores and there were like 10 games in a row where Eddy Curry only took 1 shot or non in like 35 minutes!

So, is there anything to be done? Probably not on ps2 i imagine.

Not on the PS2. On the PC it's possible to edit players and correct their Primacy by modifying the value in players.dbf.
