Roster Patch

I'm looking for a updated roster patch for NBA Live 2003 that will work in franchise mode, doesnt have to be updated through yesterday.. but all the ones I've found online are "tweaked" and crash in franchise mode.. if I can get at least a few seasons updated.. I'll take it from there... any help anyone ??

I had it but quit on 03 before releasing it. Now I don't have the file. Sorry but chances are very little. People just don't play 03 anymore...

I actually did find a patch on another site updated til the end of last season..

missing all of the 2005 draft class and part of the 2004... I was able to put all of the existing players on their new teams, and starting creating the new players... it does work in season mode which is the main thing..

I maybe one of the few still playing 2003, probably because I'm too cheap to spring for the couple of bucks on EBAY to buy 2004 or 2005, forget about 2006

I'll put my progess on this board, just incase anyone is interested..

ok.. players and teams are set.. everybody is in...

now comes the ratings.. some are way to high for former all-stars that are now bench warmers and some of the rookies could go one way or the other...

I have tried to edited them and never seem to get the desired results in a season or franchise... the team results seem to be accurate, with the Pistons, Spurs, and Heat the usual suspects in the title runs.. and the Celtics firmly in the gutter...

and yes the rosters work with or without Charlotte in season and franchise mode...

now if a rating guru out there would be kind enough to drop me a line and gimmie a crash course in ratings editing.. I would greatly appreciate it..

I'm about 90%, I still need some help with the ratings, otherwise my trial and error way of doing it will take a bit longer... any help there is appreciated...

how is your roster patch doing

I took a weekend off, but I'm thinking I will be done just after the trade deadline... this way I will have all possible trades accounted for.

Will the main new players hav cyber faces? eg bron, melo, wade, bosh etc and possibly some second year and rookie players

no.. no cybefaces.. at least not to start with, just gettting the rosters up to date is enough of a chore..

that might be an idea for a later version, I intended to re-do the file once it hits the street and I start to get some feedback...

I've given up on the ratings for the time being.. 90% of the players perform as to be expected, but some players I can't seem to fix no matter how much I tinker with them...

yeah.. I was waiting for the forums to come back up to get the email address of the people that wanted it..

I'm going to start another post to say its ready for release and let anyone that wants it leave their email.. I dont want to post it until I think any possible bugs are out..

I still play 2003, and update it for the British League every season. It's the only game i find easier to patch, and it not too bad if you can make good cyberfaces.
