What do you think of KG in Milwaukee???

Thu Feb 02, 2006 8:55 pm

I've tried to start a dynasty with the Bucks and made those trades:

Magloire to Chicago for T. Chandler

And then Chandler, Bogut and Simmons for KG and 1 other (Minny have traded before and had 1 player left in their roster)

I think that's good for both teams because the Wolves can rebuild with a lineup of Chandler, Bogut, Simmons, Davis and Jaric

And the Bucks have KG inside the area, Redd shooting from the ouside and Ford feeding them....
Now i'd like to trade Mo Williams for a SF (one with good defensive abilities).

What do you think and suggest???
Thanks a lot

Good Trade, i would of kept Chandler & Bogut because in the long run they're younger and will be come great, but Garnett is getting past it, but if you just want results quick then that should work.

That was my idea: KG going East (like Shaq, but younger...) can dominate for years. And the Wolves get good young players, but no superstar.
Probably a lineup with Chandler and Bogut is better in the long run, but i love KG and i think that the Bucks become a real force this way....
Thanks for the reply (Y)

Any suggestion about the SF???
I think getting Josh Smith from Atlanta with the 3 for 1 players trade isn't fair....but J. Smith and his defensive abilities would really be a perfect addition to the team....

If i was you, i'd get Josh Smith 3 for 1 then fill up the roster with Free Agents, because the chances are the free agents that you will be able to sign will be as good as the ones you trade to ATL.

I know...but i think that would "unbalance" the game a little....i think it's a sort of "bug" (don't know how to explain this...) that the computer accepts a trade of 3 underrated players for 1 good player only for the need of filling a roster....and, moreover, Atlanta loses its cap space this way....

Yeh but if you're winning Championships then who cares. No point in playing for 25 Years of a dynasty without winning anything, just to make it realistic.

I hate it. I dont like trading top rookies, especially when its Bogut :x

I would say 'keep bogut' and try trading someone else instead... maybe mo williams :?

Ok, i've retried the trades and it ended like this: the chandler trade, minnesota accepted to give KG (and another low rated guy) for Chandler, Mo Williams and Joe Smith!!!!!!! So now the team is:
C: Bogut
PF: Garnett
SF: Simmons
SG: Redd
PG: Ford

8-)

Nice Team

By the way how did you get Chandler from the Bulls ?

Fri Feb 03, 2006 5:16 am

Magloire for Chandler....for me it worked fine.
And it makes sense: an ex all-star for a good (potentially great) player that is not playing much (on the last update by Andrew he's starting from the bench....).
Going to the bucks, and then to the wolves he'll get a starting lineup role.
