Didnt mean to bring up a really old thread, but I had a question about player evolution so I thought I might as well put this question in a pre-existing thread.
My question is: for anyone that has gone past the first season in dynasty, and has got to the player evolution screen, does the type of screen they give you matter? Because I simmed through half of my first season without saving to see players that evolved after year 1. I had the options of seeing Calderon, Bosh, and Jalen Rose. Calderon had a screen where there was only one picture of him, instead of the side by side comparison in the above picture, but still had the comparison of stats. He is doing what you see allan houston doing, looking at his arms and stuff to see how hes changed. bosh, had this small area above him that had year one with only scorer, but at the start of 06-07, he gained inside stopper (not really gained, since by default, inside stopper is just disabled, not like he doesnt have it at all), and only had one picture of him, not like above wheres theres a side by side comparison of the same picture of the player from the beginning and end of the year. instead of just looking at how hes changed like Calderon, hes just smiling and flexing. next, when i viewed jalen rose, i got the same type of screen, a side by side comparison of two of the same players, both being Rose. He got heavier (from 215 to 223, went from medium thick cut to being heavy thick cut), certain stats went up by one (awareness and stuff), but some of them also went down by one (quickness, speed, field goal). Unlike Bosh but like Calderon, he is looking at his arms and stuff and seeing how he's changed.
So, my question is, does the type of screen you get for player evolution tell something, like if you get the Rose-type screen, the player is on the decline, if you get the Bosh-type screen, you've successfully trained him to become a superstar, and for the Calderon-type screen, it shows an up-and-coming superstar-in-training player?
