Well I don't think Mike James needs a boost right now. He plays more minutes this season than the last one so we'll see if he can continue to play at this level. The only thing I can say is that he really improved in his FT-shooting. He already hit more shots from the line than last season and has a %. of over 80 right now. Maybe there should be a little boost but I'd wait a few weeks to see if he has realy gotten so much better from the line.

no offense...

but in my opinion...
the situation in which kobe shoots 3 and k.martin shoots 3 will be different right?
i mean kobe will be shooting with a lot more pressure as k.martin, cuz ppl will guard him more tightly as they know he is a good shooter..
unlike martin which is not a very good shooter right?

my opinion no offense
I agree. Thats why I say keep kobe where he is, and just up kevin martin to 56 or so.
Num33Baller: I'll take another look at Kevin Martin based on your suggestions.
Thank you.

Peja Stojakovic going to play in indiana instead of ron artest, it's a little bit rhetorical question, but are you going to put them in their new teams on the 1.05 version?
Wed Jan 25, 2006 7:40 am
Sorry Andrew, I forgot one. I think Jose Calderon's Speed, Quickness and Dribble need to be higher, from watching him play he's very quick and a good playmaker. He plays with the same high-speed style as Nash, although that's just my opinion. I'd say all three should be somewhere in the mid-80's.

probably boost Kobe's Inside Scoring, FT (hes shooting insane from the stripe this year), 3PT, FG, Jumping, and Primacy
Wed Jan 25, 2006 9:35 am
i have to agree all of kobes rating should be redone

His primacy is already 99. As I said, his ratings already make him a dominant force in gameplay and allow him to average over 30 ppg.

Are you kidding? You are kidding, right? I don't know how many times I have to say this, I must have answered this about five times in this one thread alone.
THE WHOLE POINT OF A CURRENT ROSTER UPDATE IS TO UPDATE THE ROSTERS, HENCE THE NAME "CURRENT ROSTER UPDATE". ANY TRANSACTIONS THAT TAKE PLACE WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE ROSTER. IF THE TRADE OCCURS BEFORE THE RELEASE OF V1.05 THEN YES, IT WILL BE INCLUDED IN THAT UPDATE.Sorry to be so abrasive but I'm getting really fed up answering the same questions over and over.

No. As I said, they already achieve the desired result, there's nothing to boost and I do not and will not boost for the sake of boosting.
Wed Jan 25, 2006 1:58 pm
hey andrew, where do u check transactions? nba.com? cuz recently, memphis already signed atkins, but it still didnt update there yet... maybe its just me being impatient, i donno
Wed Jan 25, 2006 2:09 pm
NBA.com first, then a couple of other transactions listings to double check.

Andrew wrote:In Kobe's case, it's a matter of what exactly needs boosting? He's already set up to average 30+ (in most simulation attempts) and be a dominant scorer during gameplay.
he averages 35.9...
i think maybe increase the fg and ft. in andrew's rosters, kobe's fg is 87, 1 pt less than lebron's 88.. and kobe is a jump shooter.. so maybe raise to 88 or 89?

It depends... I made a 6'10 SG with 99 everything for the fun of it and he averaged 29ppg.
Second highest was 18, third was like 15, and so on. Starting 5 averaged double figures, but thats about it.

Yeah but as Andrew said, the whole point of a fucking roster patch is to have up to date rosters with transactions and such.

for sure kobe's FT rating should be in the 90's as good as anyone else in the NBA, he holds the record for most consecutive FT's for the lakers that he set this season, it was like 55 or somewhere along those lines, an incredible feat. Also, luke ridnour is an excellent ft shooter, his ft should be in the high 80's or low 90's as well.

Yes. Which is 30+ ppg, exactly the range he's currently set up for. Unfortunately it doesn't always work out that way because the stats engine is faulty.

He is shooting 83% for the season, so I won't set it any higher than 83.
