v1.03 released...

Okay, since I am now playing this game rather than 2k6, I would like to re-create my 2003 save like I did for 2k6. However I noticed that Divac, Christie, Bradley, and maybe others are missing from your patch. I tried to read through the guides and it seems like I have to use DB commander or something. Could you quicky tell me what to do to activate all the retired players again under free agents? is it possible to activate all the retired and keep the new legends you created?

Nothing easier. Open up players.dbf, locate the retired players and change their TEAM field to 50 (Free Agents). Enter the game, re-load the rosters and there they'll be, available to be signed.

What's the go with Gerald Wallace? Number 1 in the league in steals per game yet his rating goes down from 84 to 73. He's also right up there in blocks per game (at number 11 with 2.11 at the moment) yet his block rating has been reduced to a lousey 55?

About the intended release: I'm afraid I was too busy with some personal matters yesterday, as you can tell from my posting history I didn't get online yesterday. Not much really to this update so far, just a few transactions and some ratings updates. Nevertheless, I'll leave it until this weekend just so I can squeeze in some more updates and allow for a few more transactions.

Could you please review some of the Free Agent's ratings. Especially Derrick Coleman, Kendall Gill and other older players. If they are that 'skilled' they would be signed by Atlanta or some desperate team. And I'm also pretty sure Steve Smith is retired, I think he announced his retirement in the offseason.

You've got "New Orleans-KC" in the Hornets name, it should be "New Orleans-OC".

Aren't the Hornets using 'NOK' as their 3 letter acronym these days? I think New Orleans-OK would be better than OC.

Why not just put New Orleans/Oklahoma City

I don't think there's space to, IIRC. What I put in my game is NO/Oklahoma City.

I noticed that after the last release, not sure I went that way unless I was subconciously thinking of Kansas City for whatever reason. I've already changed it to New Orleans/OKC ready for v1.04.

Can you up Kevin Martins Stamina (26 for gods sake), Kevin Martins 3pt (35 3pt), and pass. Kudos on his speed and quickness ratings.



Maybe his jump should be somewhere around 78-80 instead of 70. I've seen him jump out the gym.

thanks man. I took it unto myself to fix it for my dynasty... but I'm not sure the league I'm in would appreciate me changing ratings for people on my team.

You wouldn't be asking me to adjust ratings simply to give you an advantage in a league, would you?

Thanks, but as I've said before I don't need to be reminded of transactions I haven't yet made. The main purpose of roster updates is to update the rosters, so transactions/lineups is something I check.

Andrew, I think some players like Penny Hardaway need to have their real name as it is listed on NBA.com, which means that his name should be "Anfernee Hardaway". And Utopia's Smush Parker isn't working on your roster. I hope you can include that for tomorrow's update.

And please change CJ Miles to "C.J. Miles", as listed on NBA.com.

He's back on the roster now that he's been called up from the D-League.
