The trade is ok, I mean Korver is a ffs what makes him better than gordan even though the stats do not really show that

[SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 6]Kyle Korver’s arrival in Utah could not have been more exciting as the shooting guard posted a scoring high for the season as he led the Jazz with 28 points and hit key shots in late in the game to help the Jazz pull out a tough win against the visiting Bulls. “This is one of the reasons we brought Kyle here, because being a deadeye shooter is his job, and he has shown the ability to hit key shots like tonight.” Coach Jerry Sloan said after the game.

Korver hit 2 of his 6 three pointers in the last 4 minutes, including one that ended a 8-0 Bulls run. Overall Korver shot 9-15, with a 6-12 effort from downtown, though he did lead the team in turnovers with 5.

On the other side the Bulls’ Kirk Hinrich was on fire as he poured in 30 points in the loss. As the 2 teams headed into the final quarter tied, Hinrich drove in and hit Ben Gordon for a three, then slashed for 2 points of his own. Other Bull performers were Eddy Curry and Tyson Chandler, who each had a double-double. Curry achieved 19 points and 15 boards (11 offensive), which Chandler put in 23 points and snagged 12 boards (8 offensive).

The Jazz again were outrebounded a lot. Their total of 28 rebounds for the game matched the number of offensive rebounds the Bulls pulled down, but still managed to win the game through some clutch shooter from Korver and swingman Andrei Kirilenko. Center Andrew Bogut also scored 22, though he had a hard time rebounding against the stronger and more experienced Curry, only grabbing 3 rebounds… however all 3 were on the offensive end. Power forward Udonis Haslem was the only player for the Jazz in double-double; he had 12 points and 11 rebounds (7 offensive).

The Jazz will get a 3 day break before traveling north to face off against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Great debut for Korver, the Jazz seems to be afraid to go inside, 29 3-point attempts is way toooo much!

[Jazz Boxscore] [Timberwolves Boxscore]

[MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 10] – The Jazz have probably set a record for the most games decided by a last shot, because tonight they again managed to barely squeak out a win in Minnesota against the Timberwolves. Mark Madson, who was injured earlier in the game, missed a step-back three pointer and the Wolves conceited to the Jazz.

Newcomer Kyle Korver continued to show his brilliance as he put up 21 points on 5-11 shooting from downtown. The Jazz’s frontcourt also had good games: Andrew Bogut scored 12 points, grabbed 4 boards, and dished out a co-leading 7 assists with Deron Williams. Udonis Haslem scored 10 and grabbed 7 boards, and Andrei Kirilenko was his usual self, scoring a team high 23. The bench players in the spotlight were rookie Charlie Villanueva and center Jarron Collins with 10 apiece, Collins also grabbed 7 rebounds (4 offensive).

The Jazz led for the majority of the game, but a late run in at the end of the third quarter actually put the Jazz behind by one point going into the last quarter. However Kirilenko stepped up, stealing the ball from Sam Cassell and dunking it, from there on the Jazz did not look back and managed to hold the lead.

The Timberwolves’ MVP candidate Kevin Garnett was held to an unusually low 12 points, but he did grab 12 rebounds (7 offensive). The man leading the way was point guard Cassell, who led the game with 30. Rookie Rashad McCants had 10 and so did Madson. The presence at center was weak however for the Wolves as Michael Olowokandi only scored 6 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. The Jazz frontcourt did a good job holding him and Garnett in check.

After this win, the Jazz are still in first, but they will face the Houston Rockets in Houston tomorrow and the Rockets are riding a 11 game winning streak and will try to make it 12.

Michael Olowokandi: 1
Kevin Garnett: 1 2
Andrei Kirilenko: 1
Kyle Korver: 1
Charlie Villanueva: 1
Deron Williams: 1
Miscellaneous: 1 2 3

What the heck is Cassell still doing on the TWolves? Anyway, if Madsen had made that 3, I woulda laughed my ass off.

ah my bad. as you can probably see i just use the template from the previous game for the new game, and repeat process for next game and stuff. though i am getting a lil bored and will probably present a new style after the all star break
