Northworst division

How's the Southleast these days?

Another break-out player was 3rd year swingman Travis Outlaw who used a big game in Philadelphia to really secure a spot in the team's rotation. Outlaw has shown that in the open court and as a slasher, he is a very useful commodity. As his outside shot improves and he becomes more consistent, he really has a chance to be a pretty solid player in the league.

:headbang:

Great recap. even though you only played 4 games, lol.

Great to see my boys Telfair, Zach and Outlaw stepping up their game, and 19 points in 19 minutes by Outlaw :headbang:

Zach had a breakout month, he put his averages higher which is great to see. He dominated against the Magic with 29 and 15 (Y)

and nice effects on the player carrd (Y)

yep, it seems to be the Northworst this season....as for the Southleast....it is no more....check this out:
Miami (9-2), Atlanta (9-4) , Charlotte (6-4) (they were never that good when I used them  , Orlando (4-6), Washington (2-9)

and here you were thinking I wasn't going to give him a chance :shake: everyone gets a fair run under my leadership

yep, those 3 you mentioned (your boys that is) had good months, but most notably it was Zach Randolph who was the big-time presence that the team was sorely missing....can't forget to mention Ruben Patterson who has been an unsung hero....not only has he been steady and consistent on the court, but he's stayed out of jail too (Y)

and cheers for compliment on card, I was quite proud of that one if I say so myself  I'm gonna do one card a month, different designs, some simple, some spinny and so on....hopefully by the end of the dynasty, I will have accumulated some crazy amount of them and show them off....

Yeah i don't really like Ruben that much but he has been doing well (Y)

So when are you going to get that back-up Power Forward?

oops, I knew I forgot something

in all honesty, I think I'm surviving alright at the moment at the PF position....will eventually need to make the move, but at the moment I really don't want to hurt Outlaw's minutes by bringing in a backup 4 which will move Ruben to a backup 3, which will

nothing in the works....although, as always I'm open to suggestions....who do you guys see as a good backup to Zach?!? and before you say it Weaver, I'll leave Pape and Sean alone for now

huge probably wasn't the right word  but it is Travis Outlaw we are talking about who was not doing too much up until this point....so for Travis, this was a huge night

to answer your question, he's 16th in the league at 6.9apg....

The X wrote:Blazers Among League Leaders

G- Sebastian Telfair - 6.9apg (16th in NBA), 2.10spg (18th in NBA), 50.0% 3Pt (19th in NBA)
F/C- Zach Randolph - 11.3rpg (10th in NBA)

as for being an All-Star one day, I sure hope so....but we'll see....he could be battling the likes of Will Sit, so it might be tougher than it seems

yeah, it's a short season so shooting % are still rating high, but they should come down....I'm surprised Telfair is hitting that many....most of the 3's he makes tend to rattle in, but I'll take it

Nice stuff X, I like the stat line of the month idea.

Keep faith in Outlaw, me and a mate played a Pacers dynasty last night and in the 2006/2007 Finals outlaw was a real pain the ass (Yes the Blazers were in the 2007 Finals :P)

I was a little shocked too by that, but then again they are at the top of the East with a 13-3 record....they're hot, just like in real life....but rest assured, last time I checked, I think on Vince was the only one among the 3 as an MVP candidate....

Thierry. wrote:That loss against Indiana was just bad luck :P All is great X, keep it up!

yep, damn Sarunas Jasikevicius was a killer with some clutch 3 pointers :x he was the only difference in the end between the 2 clubs....couldn't been 3-1 for month, but that's the way it goes....it's a young team and those sorts of games just slip by....and what made it worse was that I intervened and came back from like a 12pt 4th quarter deficit to almost win it....was good fun though....I'll get them next time

cwebbiverson wrote:nice x...portland getting better....

yep, we're getting more steady and our defense has been more rock solid....

Cyril Takayama wrote:hey great job man pretty decent statline for outlaw

yep, I always like the Stat Line of the Month....kinda like the Daily Dime stat line you see....I just thought it just adds a little bit more to the monthly recaps, and provides stats buffs like you and I a little more to look at....

Blazers in '07 Finals  Jugs will be going bananas when I reads that  who knows, maybe Outlaw can lead me tothe promised land, ya never know :P

and you'll be happy to know I'm putting your card layer template to good use....expect a PM from me in the coming days, I have another idea that I would like your help with

Anthony15 wrote:At least u went .500 this month, good stuff man!!!

what's that suppose to mean, sounds like you pity me  .500 is pretty solid with this bunch  .500 today, championship tomorrow

cheers for all the comments guys....

NICE nice nice...

You know when you send me your screenshot of your TEam MVP, you can jazz it up like this you know! Makes more people want to check out your little nook on liveGMC.com a bit more!

IT's good to have you back man! I guess it's weird for me to say that because...when you were 'gone' you were actually closer to Seattle than when you were back...

...frick, I'm an idiot!

Anyway, keep up the awesome re-caps here like always. I'll be able to give some better feedback this time around than last year...I guess I've been saying that way too much now...I best be putting my actions where my mouth is!

cheers, good to see a comment on the card  yep, was planning to jazz up a pic for you for liveGMC....considering Zach will be team MVP, I was hoping you would accept that one  nah, I'll make some random new one soon....

I'm 12 games in, expect my pstats within the week....btw, it's good to be back

ya luvin' it....maybe your bold prediction of Blazers in 2007 could be true  although personally, I would love to see your World Cup Soccer prediction come true first

cheers :P it's pretty easy though, especially if I'm able to do it....just requires using one of those magnetic lasso tools then copying that layer and throwing random effects on the background....and hey presto, the card I made is what you get
