YOUR FEEDBACK IS VERY IMPORTANT!
Version 1.00- RELEASEDThe next level of stat tracking is here!
It is still not finished and your feedback is important, please test it out and give me your two cents!
a short description (taken from the readme) :
1)I know the program's not pretty, I'm sorry, I only know how to
program in Turbo Pascal...
2) I'm sorry if the readme iss messed up or written badly, It's late
here and I'm tired.
3) All the examples in the following readme will be using the bulls, just
for my convinience
ABOUT
This is essentialy a program designed to accomplish two main goals:
1) to give the user statistics that NBA Live 2006 does not diplay
(for example:team averages, player shot attempts per game,
double-doubles, efficiency ratins, ass\to ratio and more..)
2) Tracking of individual player records
(for example: tyson chandler notched a season high 34 point on
november 22nd vs. cleveland)
The program also allows you to sort team and player averages per month, opponent, win or loss and home or away games.
All this in order for us virtual coaches and mangers so we can get a better more comprehensive analisys of our teams and players performance.
for example, using the program I might discover that in games where Loul Deng has started I have a 2-5 recored whereas when Andres Nocioni assumed starting position I am 6-2. or that in wins Tim Thomas averages 10 shots more than in losses, or that January has been Eric Basdens rookie breakout month nearly doubling his averages, or that my team is 10-2 in low scoring games.
All this data is more than good to know. I can be a powerfull aid in planing a good succesfull team strategy and in improving our teams' performance.
Hope you enjoy the program, cheers

Cool Program but the installation is really weird, I can't figure out what it means by location. I put in C:\Documents and Settings\Jugs\Desktop\Live 06 Mods\TCBF1 but it said it wasn't right and then i trade C:\Documents and Settings\Jugs\Desktop\Live 06 Mods\TCBF1\TCBF1.EXE but it said no dots allowed and then i tried C:\Documents and Settings\Jugs\Desktop\Live 06 Mods\TCBF1\SAVE1 but that didn't work either, I really want this program to work

Great Tool!!!
But where can I see the Double/Double, Efficiency etc.?
Edit: OK, found the DD, but still searching for the other stuff.
btw: The heights and stuff doesn't work with my team (Dallas) though it works with your Bulls files

A great tool! I love it, can't wait for an improved version!
@ Jugs: I had the same problem as you, but when I dropped the whole TCBF1 folder straight at C:\ then it worked. All I can think of is that it doesn't like spaces in the path?

finally go tit to work.. but confusing as hell to use
ok.. when i put my team stats into save1/other the program goes mad and spews out bunch of random numbers. and when i take my boxscore and put em into save1/box the program just exits out. and if i put them outside box they just dont appear.. why?
Fri Jan 13, 2006 2:59 am
Mjje: I'll try to sort that out, and the efficiency will be asdded on later.
Cyril: I have no clue why it does that... what team are you using?
the program should be able to handle spaces in file names, and installtions to different directories.
anyway when you type in the file name you don't need to give tcbf.exe, only the path.
I do not have real accses to the net this week, or to t programing, but I will try to get it done by next weekend. for any bugs you find, please inform me in this thread, and try to be as specific as you possibly can.

Cyril, you got to rename the team stats file in /OTHER to "teams.txt". Worked for me.
...
And Toaster, here's some bugs.
You've misspelled Minnesota and Milwaukee in the program and because of this the program can't find neither teams' stats, although they're in the right place.
It's nice and all that you have madedifferent colors for all the teams, but black text on a dark blue background (Washington) is a big no no. Try to make one of them light and the other dark. There may have been otherr teams with a similar problem.
Oh, and the path problem wasn't the spaces, it just doesn't want to accept longer paths.
Overall, I love this program! Can't wait for the next release with the Player Averages.

I don't know if should be considered a bug, but still.
Lets say I want to view the team stats early into the season and some teams still havent played a game then the program exits. If i replace the team's stats (the line of zeroes) with some other team's stats then it works fine.
Sat Jan 14, 2006 11:23 pm
I can't get the team stats to work, the screen gets filled up by a bunch of numbers and jibberish, all I did was put tstat000.txt in the Other folder
