I'm planning to get a new comp, mainly to play games like nbalive. Found this one deal at MDG. Not sure if it's good enough. Any advice?
intel pentium 4 processor 519k (3.06ghz)
4DDR slots, 4 conventional PCI slots, 2 PCI express connector
1GB Kingston DDR memory
western digital 250GB hard drive
dvd burner
19'' flat panel monitor
ATI Radeon x300 256mb PCI Express (Free upgrade to graphics media accelerator 900)
windows, microsoft office, free pritner, subwoofer speakers, all that stuff...
Adds up to be around $1200 cad before tax.
I'm not too good with comps... is this a good deal or should I keep looking?

decent pc, but like boris said, the x300 card is a weak spot. try upgrading that to at least an x700, preferrably a x850

I think he is from Canada like me...that is why his price is canadian. Newegg doesn't ship to Canada either..I have contacted them about that. Western Digital Hard Drive is big..50g's bigger than mine..but Western might not be too good. I used to have a 80 g one on my old computer and it was the 1st thing to go.
